You really want to know what a Hatton/Mayweather fight would look like? Go watch a tape of Gatti/Mayweather...actually it would be worse,because Gatti is stronger than Hatton. It would be a lousy fight,because after the first few rounds of getting peppered,Ricky would turn into HugMan for the rest of the fight. But this is all conjecture...cause it ain't ever gonna happen. I should amend that,it's not going to happen in the near future while both are at their peak. It reminds me of all those yearswe waited for a Roy Jones/Darius Machwhatevervich fight...and it never happened. it would be nowhere near gatti and mayweather,styles make fights,gatti didnt have the style to beat mayweather,it was obvious,hatton would give a better fight than gatti and that doesnt mean hatton would win and it doesnt mean hatton is better than gatti styles,styles,styles

Nah, Baldomir is slow on his feet, he tried to box with Mayweather and he didn't throw enough punches. Hatton has good feet, he always stays close and he keeps on throwing punches to the body. Hatton - Mayweather would be a lot closer than the Baldomir fight. yeh alot closer,but i dont reckon floyds game plan would be much different

i honestly think hatton vs mayweather would be pretty much identical to baldomir vs mayweather hattons game plan would be to attack attack attack so was baldomirs,it didnt work,floyd would pot shot him all night and make it a boring fight,but white wash him

I guess we're assuming Floyd isn't selfish enough to keep his word and retire. He has been taking all the criticism very personally. He's heard all the jokes about his crying - I'm not totally sure he won't retire.

Even if Hatton loses he can still box and make money. Losing to PBF wouldnt be the end of the world for him. Every boxers who ever laces gloves loses, so why shouldnt Hatton want to face PBF for fear of losing. Hatton wants the glory. I dont see Hatton v PBF happening in 2007. A year goes in the blink of an eye and the politics of boxing make this a 2008 match for me personally. And Mayweather need not even talk about money for this match. He will get paid handsomely for his efforts. Boxers dont need shortchanging but with the amount of starving people and people in poverty in this world he dont need to talk about money the way he does about this match. And the same goes for Hatton.

Floyd would demand too much money if he beats Oscar so I don't see this coming off. What I could see happening is Mayweather - Pac. I can definitely see this fight at 140. It would be P4P #1 vs #2. I think that fight brings PBF more money. There is no way in hell Floyd is going back down to 140.

I don't think there's any question of the money involved, it's a huge fight. It would be great if this fight did happen but I'm still not convinced.

i dont know anyone whos said that mate floyd is saying that ricky cant make money so im just ruling that 1 out for when some fans may follow
