Did Adamek throw the fight?

Adamek can come back and win another alphabet title, but seems to have his limitations. How good is Adamek? Very difficult to tell I suppose as his two fights with Briggs (Briggs apparently looked shit in his fight this weekend) show us nothing about Adamek's place on the world scene. Adamek is a crowd pleaser though and should be back soon enough, he seems to be world class but not an elite fighter, something Dawson could be.

Adamek was not exposed, Sin, you eternal dipshit. He just came up short vs a good southpaw fighter, as many fighters do. Southpaws are a bitch to fight even with average skill...much less Dawson's skill level. Struggling with Briggs is no big deal. Briggs brings a lot of pain and is a top 7 175er. I agree, the fact that Dawson was a quick Southpaw confused the hell out of Adamek.

i really liked this fight, and on my point of view i think adamek didnt throw too many punches because dawson didnt let him. every time he threw something it was quickly returned. well, that my newbie point of view =P.. Adamek looked baffled by Dawson's southpaw stance and maybe even the slight reach disadvantage. He kept trying to lead with a straight left only to eat right jabs in the process. That's why he couldn't get shit off. Adamek was trying to build everything off the left for some reason and it just wasn't happening. I hope Adamek works on on his game more and comes back, hell, he nearly stole this one.

That was a very good fight. I enjoyed it immensley. What heart adamek showed. That wad incredible. As the fight went on, you could see the oppurtunity for the short right hand to land, but after brilliant combinations from dawson you thought it was impossible. That was great stuff down the stretch. Round 10 and 11 were FOTY stuff. wow

WTF...what a change from adamek from his last 2 fights...didnt throw sh*t...Dawson had a lot to do with it of course-guys cool and great,and best of all young so he has a lot left and good career ahead of him. Good fight for the kid,hope to see him get better. What an emotional night right...with chaves speech and dawson hehe..good times. ps: adamek reminds me of Nickelodeons "Doug" cartoon

No, he was just another overhyped European fighter that got exposed. Adamek wouldn't have even won a round if Dawson wasn't so inexperienced... Can't you leave geography out of a boxing discussion?
