We have three undefeated top guys:
Mayweather 37-0-0 (24)
Cotto 28-0-0 (23)
Williams 34-0-0 (24)
If these guys fought each other, who would come out victorious?
Can 5'8 Mayweather be sneaky enough for a hard-punching 6'1 Williams?
Can Mayweather and Williams deal with Cotto's power?

Williams is an unknown for me right now - I could go either way.
Cotto would get it.. Mayweather class session.
Mayweather Has few weaknesses.. A good strong straight right is one of them.. Cotto has the skill and paitence to lay the hurt on Floyd.. not to mention Cottos exlellent Body work..
If Cotto could NOT KO Floyd ..then I am sure PBF would win a descison..
Paul Williams is a FRAUD and can only beat up guys he outreaches by 12 inches and who have moved up from lower weights..
Totally agree Williams is fraud, or at least highly, highly overated pretty much based on his height and a long list of fighting nobodies, topped off by a beat up, outsized Sharmba Mitchell.
Cotto Mayweather would be an interesting fight. No way would Mayweather be AS EFFECTIVE defensively against Cotto as he was against Baldomir, He would take some shots to the BODY, these would do a lot of damage and take away his ability to move. I just don't see PBF wanting to stay in the pocket very much with Cotto ether. If Cotto gets past Urkal impressively and beats Margarito he is the man above Floyd IMO unless Floyd takes my breath away against Oscar and shows a little more OFFENSE he would do well to avoid Cotto.
Pretty Boy would out point both of these dudes...Williams would pose the bigger problem...Cotto would get UD real quick......
Thats funny.. Cause its takes 36 long minutes to get UD'd
There is NOTHING "real quick" about it...:lol1:
I think Cotto is the best of the 3 at welter right now.Floyd obviously has the most pure skill but I doubt he could handle Cottos pressure and Williams size.Cotto would probably break Williams down to the body and beat him if they fought so I say Cotto.
i dont think cotto could ge to williams body.. that is a figh we will never see

I think Cotto is the more exciting fighter and will end up being the better "Welterweight" but PBF is the better fighter but I think he was better at lightweight where he had the power to compliment his speed.
I really liked what i saw from Cotto when he beat Quintana I think i slightly give him the edge based on that fight and how effective he was at cutting the ring, good hand and foot speed, body work, and good staying power showed.
For me Cotto is the Daddy but I can see why people would favour Floyd and got no problem with that. Again i'll post why id favour Cotto over PBF,
Cotto works the body like nothing on earth, cuts off the ring beautifully and hits like a mule! Stronger at the weight than Floyd, nothing wrong with Miguels chin but Floyd dosent hav the power to hurt him at this weight for sure and also he is adaptable just like floyd.
Floyd is the best p4p, let alone welterweight....and jr. welterweight and super lightweight and jr. middleweight, probably top 10 in Middleweight as well.
Cotto is great, hes got great power and great footwork. hes defense isnt all that great and all he is, is right and left hooks. If someone with a great chin and a lethal left cross and jab would beat him, i beleive.
I really think Cotto or Williams would beat Mayweather at WW........PBF just does not bring the power with him at that weight, Cotto would be too relentless and probably stop him while losing on the cards and Williams range would be too much for him to handle.DLH is going to KO him at 154 IMO.
Power...what he brings is the points to win a fight...Briggs brings power...and L's...Pretty Boy Brings points...and W's...Power < Points..
I disagree with every1 of those outcomes
again this is my opinion, if you take cotto for instance he is a very strong for both mayweather and williams but has problems when he is boxed,
mayweather on the other hand has his smart way of boxing his opponents,
he will win easily against cotto, but agains williams i doubt it,
williams is a southpaw non-stop throwing punches, his arm length reach is his biggest advantage of all which i think he will be too dangerous for mayweather and cotto
IMO none of em' simply because just because they are undefeated doesn't mean they are the best, coto and williams still haven't been with legit opponents yet at least for the moment, if i had to choose one it would be Mayweather all day, but if you try to match em up like this;
cotto vs williams = williams wins
cotto vs mayweather = mayweather wins
williams vs mayweather = williams wins

remember this a great champion gives its all even if he loses, if he does he will make a comeback and gain confidence, a loss is not the end of the world,
a great loss would be trinidad vs dhl obviously he was robbed another
collazo vs hatton, collazo lost but looked great

I don't really think you can make those comparisions. Mayweather is NO leonard. Leonard was faster, stronger, and alot more powerfull.
lol...
you look at those 3 comparisons and the one you pick on is mayw=leonard?
lol...
Margarito is the one that was gonna get his ass handed to him by Clottey, if Clottey didn't break his hand right?
Exactly bud! Spot on! :biggthump

Well Williams sure aint Hearns! They are good comparisons for whats out there i thought, all are lesser versions tho
