WBC, IBF, WBA & WBO Belts... What a Joke!

That's right. Tarver droped all of his belts to fight Johnson, cause that's what true champs do, fight the best. exactly, more champs should do that... lennox lewis dropped the WBA title rather than defend against an unworthy ruiz... once a fighter reaches the top, he doesnt really need the belts anymore... if wlad dropped the belt instead of fighting an unworthy austin, most would still consider him the top heavey... and fans shouldnt yell so much about unification, instead it should be about the best against the best... oleg is the WBC champ, but nobody thinks he can beat anyone and he couldnt sell any PPV's here in the U.S.

WBO, WBA, WBC. They should be the only belts. I think all organizations(WBC,WBA,IBF & WBO) are garbage, and don't let me get started on IBO, IBA, WBU, WBE, NBA & other organizations. When you look at ESPN's FNF, BK call the champs titleist, when the boxer have the RING Magazine's belt, he is recognized as the "True World Champion". We should all recognize RING's belt as the only true champ and boxers should follow that also. I think this is the only way that sport of boxing will go on...

The wbc and wba belts are important. Remember back in the old days, there were belts like NBA, NYSAC and coloured heavyweight championship. I guess you can keep IBF too, but please get rid of the wbo. We dont need a 4th rate org like them.

UFC is one organization with ONE champion per division and there are only FIVE divsions instead of boxings preposterous 17 divisions. boxing is too corrupt. its not even a sport anymore, its a business. MMA is actually more of a sport than boxing cuz the only reason people box is for money and nothing else. real sportsmen have greater desires than currency. WHAT??? put all those sanctioning bodies under one unified umbrella ... then make annual tournament of champions to determine undisputed world champ ...
