I Think ARCE would get KNOCKED OUT by DARCHINYAN...

Just another example of a fight everyone wants to see, but no one really expecting it will happen. It seems to be the norm these days. because good fighters cushion there records now and dont like to fight the best.

i think arce's inside fighting is far better than dachinyan's. vic needs his opponents to be at range for him to land hard clean shots. as far as i can see arce would be on the inside working and smothering vic's offense. i like vic and i think he is a hell of a puncher but style wise i see arce being more effective, but then again vic does have one punch stoping power. all in all i think when things boil down i see arce getting the better of the exchanges and winning the fight by decision. this is an exciting fight through and through............ i wouldn't mind seeing vic or arce fight martin castillo either, those would be another gooden.

Simply put: Arce by late round stoppage of a very good fight... Reasons: Arec is quicker, stronger, and a better all around fighter... I think Darchinyan would put up one hell of a fight and would have his moments but, in the end, Arce's world-class experience and the other factors I mentioned would prevail... There you go... I disagree with u in saying arce is the stronger fighter. I think vic has a strength and power advantage. Arce takes speed by far but although darchinian isnt technicly sound in the classic sense he does have his own style wwich is verry effective and i actualy think vic has a little more general boxing abilitly. I have him by early stoppage lol.

I've just shown you that the validity of your arguement is questionable (Nice way of saying not vaild) by the fact that Darchinyan would be fighting at higher weight classes if he truly could meaning that he is at his optimum weight. I also stated that Arce, although started at a smaller weight, has really grown into a bigger man as evident by the fact that he weighed 130-pounds yesterday when he walked in to the arena. I was not trying to invalidate your point but merely pointing out the obvious... Arce has really out grown his current weight-class (weigh 130-pounds the night of the fight) and is really big. It would be a solid match and both guys would be in for some pain... So your picking arce? By Ko? Well my point is still valid. He does have a size adantage. and its a big size advantage lol. Im a arce and darchinian are 2 of my favorite fighters but i just dont see arce doing good in this fight. IF he could fight "2-3 weight classes higher", then wouldn't he do that in order to make a lot more money than what he makes know becaues of the potential matches at those weights??? I mean be could be at bantam to super bantam meaning he could have fight guys like Rafa Marquez and/or Daniel Ponce De Leon-Israel Vasquez-ect... I really do believe that 112 to 115 is were Darchinyan is most comfortable and any bigger may be too much. Well my point is still valid. Youve got to realize that vic darchinian could easly fight 2-3 weight classes higher. Where as arce is allready coming up in weight and is smalller than most of his opponants. So Id think vic has a size advantage as well as a power advantage. I think darchinian awquard southpaw style would confuse arce as it does most of his opponants. In order to win this fight arce would have to out box vic darchinain and not trade with him and as we have already seen arce simply doesnt have the disciplin not to. So im pickin vic darchinian by a Ko win in a wildly exciting match up. vic's chin has never really been tested. arce gets hit way too much i see KO for vic even tho i'd want arce to win.

Dont get me wrong, i love Arce, and i love Darchinyan. This fight would be the single greatest fight to ever take place under 130 pounds. It has all the makings of it. 2 cocky guys that love to fight. Both can punch hellaciously, and both have shown the ability to take a punch and come back swinging. But there were a few punches from LER, that had ARCE staggering back. granted, he wasnt expecting them because LER (or however u spell it) was hardly ever throwing. But he got caught with a loooot more flush shots then he should have with a guy like LER. With a guy like Darchinyan, thats not a mistake he can afford to make. I think he'll get caught a lot in the fight, and he'll go down maybe once. But his heart will leave him on his feet in one of the later rounds, after getting caught with a massive shot, and the ref will be forced to stop it. I also think Arce will struggle with Darchinyans extremely awkward style. I disagree because though u are right Darchinyan is awkward but in his awkwardness he hangs his head way out in front of him often in his fights. That will be a huge no no against arce. Arce's defense isnt too good either but of the two it will be Darrchinyan who will gets hit most often because he is more open, and Arce has much quicker hands.

Vic kind of reminds me of Hamed in the fact that he dosent trow enough punches because he rely's on his power.

What's with the overwhelming favoring of Darchinyan? It's more of a toss-up than anything else. I think that if Darchinyan chooses to brawl, he'll get hit up pretty badly. He's the bigger puncher, so of course Arce will be a little more defensive and leary of the shots. He won't be standing there like he did for Ler, and I don't know why anyone would think that...

Firstly, this is a fight that MUST take place. This is one that has 'classic' written all over it, and I wouldnt mind who won. They're both superb, exciting, hard hitting fighters. I don't think you can really pick a winner here. Hussein Hussein had his moments against Arce, but Arce's heart and power in that fight were outstanding. And against Donaire Darchinyan didnt overly impress until he got the KO. I would give Darchinyan the edge in power but Arce's workrate and heart are immense. If I had to put money on it I guess I would go for Arce....no wait, Darchinya....no hang on, definitely Arce.....Or Vic..... FUCK IT, I dont know. Let's hope they fight so that we get a great fight and get to find out who's the best.

One thing going for Arce in this match-up is that Darchinyan has yet to face a fighter as good as him. That must account for something. If Darch wins, then there's no question that he's legit. This will be a true test for both guys, but for me right now the edge goes to the more proven Arce, although I agree that there's always a probability that he gets knocked out.

I am with you... I think that Arce would beat Darchinyan... Arce is naturally bigger and hits harder than any of the other fighters Vic as faced...
