50/50 fight. Guzman is lightning quick and can maintain the speed throughout the fight. Manny is lightning quick in the first 3 or 4 rounds and then slow downs. Though Manny seems to retain his hard shots throughout due to his heavy hands. The thing I'm worried about is that Guzman was able to rock Barrios in their fight and Barrios came in ballooned at like nearly 147lbs. Guzman stayed light and I think it was 138lbs or something. Yet he was able to rock Barrios in the 1st round. If he can do that to a guy coming in nearly another 10lbs heavier than him, imagine what he could do to Manny? Especially if he catches Manny cold in the opening with his insanely fast hands. Watching him face Barrios in that opening, I could definitely say he has faster hands than Manny and could cause a lot of trouble for him. If Barrios can take Manny's best shot, provided it lands, then Manny will be in for a really bad night all night long. I don't think he'll really stop Manny because Manny has too much pride to go down for good, though he'll be hurt numerous times from punches he doesn't seem coming.
You must be some kind of noob. Loui_Ludwig is a pacfan but hates pacnuthuggers like me. You are very good in assessing people. :haha:
Bro, i dont hate. But thanx for ur reply about me:banana:
dont even bother trying to have a smart discussion with loui_ludwig he cant think off pac's nuts
LOL, what a great comeback. Find me a post where i said Pac is god. I am assesing his performance on the last 2 years as a super featherweight and the World Boxing mag's article on Pac's possible future oponents(MAB, JMM, Guzman, Valero, Diaz, and Casamayor).
Thanks. I know Guzman is a jr feather but I think that he's talented enough to bring his skills up to lightweight & hang with any of those fighters if not become a champ there as well.

Nice assesment. But ur talking about the 130 division right, not the 135. Pac has been working and improved on his right hand. Hopefully, he can have punching power to his right to ko/tko his future opponents like Guzman.

This is a tough fight for both & I would lean slightly towards Pac but not by much. Guzman is in his prime now. He can box, he can brawl, & he has good defence. The guy outslugged a slugger in Barrios who's no bum by any means. He hurt Barrios on numerous occasions with Barrios admitting that he punched alot harder then he thought. Pac is very strong & fast but what happens when he can't land the straight left because I would hope he has a plan B. Guzman is very versatile & would give any fighter from 135 hell.

Pacman was almost KOed when he was put on his ass by Nedal Hussein so Guzman would be capable of it aswell I would think.
Its Pac's power that seems to have been blown out of proportion.
Pac has fought all old/shot guys recently and 4 of his last 5 opponents have all been coming off a loss. (hardly the work of a legend)
Pac was still in the superbatam weight when he was knockdown by Hussei. Both Guzman and Pac are now in super featherweight. Guzman last ko win was in 2004. While Pac has won by UD(with knockdowns) and ko/tko's in his last 4 fights. Guzman did not even KO or knockdown Barrios in their fight last september. At least Pac has brough some of his power up in weight and still has his speed to help his power.

Guzman has no power. Just a little bit more skill than pac and quicker but he cannot match Pac in putching power. Guzman will lose if he fights Pac.
Guzman has power man make no mistake about that, even at this weight he has power even if he hasnt scored a KO! Powerfull as Pac? No. But I pick him to beat Pac
theres no way in hell that pac even CLOSE to being as skillful as guzman. r u fucking kidding me? yea cuz pac makes his opponents miss 60% of their punches with his great defense right? o wait i forgot this is the guy that got knocked out by a jab!!!
You cant tell me he is his prime anymore and you know thats a FACT he is 33 years old if he was 26 when he fough Pac it would of been a better fight. Im not saying he would win but it mightof been more competitive
