Well it looks like Peter aint gonna win the WBC title

Its unfair to Peter, who worked his way to a title shot, since Vitali is coming back, why not he take on hasim Rahman first, who just pulled out of a fight with ray mercer, hasim is the same guy he didnt fought when he opted to retire.

It is the poor fucker had to pay sanctioning fees twice now and still ain't getting his shot........unfair is not the word.He should have been fighting Oleg instead of Toney for the second time anyway........VK coming back just fucks the division even more.....say he beats Oleg than that makes unification even further out of the picture since we all know he will never fight Wlad.So what are we supposed to accept 2 champions that are brothers and won't fight each other? They should then force them to fight each other if VK wins a title. If not strip em both.

First, the whole reason why Maskaev's people are pursuing both the Klitschkos is that there has to be (or they think) more money fighting them(Vitali or Wlad) than there is fighting Peter. And frankly, it's borderline corruption if the WBC allows this. First the WBC was considering a unification bout with Wlad and now that that has fallen through they're considering reinstating big brother Vitali. I think that either way Peter will win the WBC title whether it be from Maskaev or Vitali...But he has earned the title shot the hard way, by winning (not like Sultan or Austin) and he should be first in line for a shot. Last point.. Don't expect this fight(Vitali-Maskaev) to happen anytime soon; its gonna take Vitali some time to get back into shape and who knows if there will be injury delays... sorry,,,,but I have little sympathy for peter. he lost badly to wlad and the only top 10 guy he beat was a 38 yr old past his prime toney in 1 out of 2 fights ( legitamately). thats hardly a recipe for a title shot. at least vit retired while never losing the belt

Don't you think it would be unfair to Vitali, who has already been inactive for 2 years and is not getting any younger. Why should HE wait to get a shot at his title? Why give the honor for any immediate rematch if that was not the case? Keep in mind... Vitali is a Champion, while Peter is a challenger. Yeah that part kind of sucks whats wrong with 2 champions we have had 4 champions ever since the end of Lewsis career why all of a sudden knock on the Klitschkos for no reason.

Im hoping they dont try to kiss peters butt now because if they do then they are the worst sanctioning body in the world. Klitschko has to get his shot right away and peter can wait..

Why are people thinking Peter is the best thing since sliced bread? He had his shot at a Champ. Has everyone forgot how W.Klitschco stuffed a hundred right hands in his ugly grill. He is a CONTENDER- Know your role!

I am thrilled that Vitali is back. But what I think the WBC must do is hold a press conference and announce that they are going to allow Peter to fight Maskaev BUT afterwards the winner must face Vitali or they will be stripped of the title ASAP. I think that would be a fair decision on the part of the WBC. In the meantime Vitali can hopefully get in a fight against a lesser opponent so that way he can shake the rust off.

i guess the question is: would u rather see peter beat maskaev and lose to kilt or klit beat maskaev and then peter lose to him... peter is getting screwed because he could have been WBC champ until big klit takes the belt away from him. the one good thing: don king dirty hands are kept away from the belts... also maybe vitali will fight valuev instead of his brother

ok guys, c'mon. Who the hell as Peter beat? Toney 2x, Laughable. He was destroyed by wlad, regardless of the rabbit punces that dropped wlad. Peter hasn't really proven himself, let him fight a brock or a barret, then we can talk. Fighting toney twice and actually going 12 rounds with him (both times)really doesn't make you more marketable. My opinion
