Who takes this ?
Hey I like Hatton but he didnt impress me tonight and I'm sure others feel the same way.
Judah is a fighter you either love or hate.
So...who wins and how ?
Judah is in many ways a horrible match up for Hatton even at Ricky's physical peak, with his southpaw speed and power.
But.....Judah can also be awful against almost anyone, so there's a good chance he wouldn't turn up against Hatton and get himself KO'd.
This could go either way, two very talented fighters who haven't necessarily made the most of that talent.
The problem with that statement is the variables that go into a fight. If what you said was true, then Baldi should've
Hatton is not Baldi and everything I said still stands. Judah's chin is shaky. Hatton fires often enough, hard enough, and accurate enough to hurt Judah. Of Course Judah may sting Hatton at time or three, but...in the end, Hatton can come through Judah's fire, and not vice versa.
Unless Hatton builds a time machine, and goes back in time to not binge eat and binge drink between fights, he has very little chance against Judah based on his last four fights.. he just isn't the same fighter. It's sad how it's turned out, and Frank Warren is to blame.
HOLYFIELD EVEN TOLD HIM TO STOP THE BEEF AND BEER
Ward was taking it to him in the last little bit, and Corley he pretty much stunk up the joint. Not very impressive opponents - especially considered the talent level of Mickey Ward.
So he has conditioning issues. That's well documented. But what you initially said was that he looks good in only the 1st 4 rounds, and this is only true in the fight against Mr. P4P.
What about Corley? Pineda? Mayweather? Ward? Baldomir? C'mon man I am not talking out of my ass.
Oh, a fighter that get's tired in the last few rounds?!?!? Unheard of!
You said that he was only efeective in the first 4 rounds, and that's bullshit. In Ward and Corley, he was still scoring, even when tired.
What are you talking about? I have been watching Judah since he fought Bergman. He is a fighter who fights in spurts. He looks almost unbeatable in the first 4 rounds because of his tremendous size and power but once he gets into the later rounds his mental game goes downhill and he coasts.
Lol, once again, this has only happened in a few fights. You act as if he fades horribly in every fight, when in reality it's happened about 3 times. And your're saying 4 rounds because the general concensus is that he beat Floyd for the first 4 rounds. Again, go watch some more Zab fights.
Judah looks simply unbeatable in the first 4 rounds of all of his fights. What he lacks is the mental discipline when he is in tough and in deep waters. This is where Hatton thrives. Hatton would put Judah in deep waters, and drown him.
Why don't you watch Judah vs Ward? Fifteenth pro fight, and he was pretty good throughout. It's obvious that you haven't really watched Judah.

Watch more Judah fights besides the Baldomir and Mayweather ones.
The problem with that statement is the variables that go into a fight. If what you said was true, then Baldi should've fared better against Floyd than Judah, or even Gatti, right? Nobody can deny that Judah's had some nights where he looked unstoppable. It's all about mentality with Zab- I think he's one of the most skilled fighters, but also the most mentally susceptible.
Somebody said exactly what I've said before regarding Judah. That he's somewhat of a WelterWeight Mike Tyson. Awesome natural talent, but simply flawed motivation.
Back to the topic, I think a focused Judah would pick apart Hatton early on. Hatton could not weather the storm in the same way that Mayweather did. His defense and speed are nowhere as good as PBF's. I take Zab by a 7th round tko.
Excellent post
Judah's chin can not hold vs Hatton. If Baldomir can hurt him, so can Hatton. Hatton is more skilled and able to hit the target better than Baldomir even. I give Judah a 10% chance of winning this fight. Judah has power and speed of his own, but nothing that will allow him to beat the style of Hatton.
Hatton TKO5 Judah.

Hatton would win, perhaps by knock out depending on what he goes for.
Hatton has more focus than Judah, he is undefeated, and contrary to belief can handle southpaws pretty well. The only reason why people are backing Judah is because he is a southpaw.
Go back to the day after Hatton beat Kostya Tszyu and everyone on here was saying that Hatton would/could beat Judah. Now its a dead cert that he would get knocked out, apparently.
Since then he beat Collazo, in a bad performance. And he beat Urango in a good performance. He can deal with southpaws and trains well for the individual fighter. He would locate Judahs weakness, and there are a lot of them, and pinpoint those for the win.
The blueprint has already been laid down to beat Judah. He lost to Baldomir who is just a poor mans Hatton, and then lost to Mayweather. He has lost to Kostya Tszyu in the past and wobbled by numerous other fighters making us think his chin is not up to parr. Meanwhile Hatton has remained undefeated, with people coming close to upset him but never actually doing it.
Hatton can come to a fight, like he came to the KT fight. Fired up and ready, totally determined and looking invincible in that form. If he does that then he definetly could beat Judah, and in my opinion would beat Judah.
Judah is overrated, now at least.
I like Hatton and have the utmost respect for him. In fact I am a big fan but Baldomir would flatton Hatton if they ever fought.
This is just a style matchup. Hatton would beat lots of guys but Judah's speed and power would cause fits for Ricky.
Your right though, Hatton is focused and ready to take on America. Judah is well ...Judah.
Judah is like a mixed bag of nuts though...you never know what your gonna get that night. Hatton is predictable. H'es gonna box and brawl with a ton of clinching.
Like I said though...I aint dissin on Ricky. I am a fan of his.

The times Collazo popped Hatton when he was closing the gap are a horrible indicator of this match up. Collazo is nowhere near Judah's level. I think Judah would knock him out.
Lets just wait and see how Collazo performs against Mosely before dismissing him. Judah wasn't very impressive in his last few fights- when it really mattered. I think Collazo will do rather well against Mosley and again prove his potential.
Against Hatton-you would have to favour Judah.
