I thought Jones appealed it? I knew it has been alledged I just didnt know he actually failed a test. I remember Mosely getting in big trouble for it thats it. Anywho a lot of the top boxers have probably at one time done some sort of performance enhancing drug. Jones and King probably threw some money at it, the corrupt IBF ignored it, but yes he absolutley tested positive. He blamed it on Ripped Fuel, if I remember right. This was for the Richard Hall fight.

I never said that. I have Jones above Toney because he beat him. I dont need to discredit James while Im at it though. I think of Jones' wins against Toney and Hopkins as legit. Why do people always have to get to the point where they end up discrediting fighters just so they can get the upper hand in an argument? Toney has had bad times, Jones has had bad times. Both have lost, both have been recognized champs, both have given excuses on why they have lost big fights. Toney was weight drained against Jones, Jones was weight drained against Tarver. Is it true? Maybe. Either way both are going down as hall of famers. People hate Toney because he comes off as an asshole on TV. Fine, if you really take what an athlete says or does on tv seriously then thats you. Personally I dont because nobody really knows what anybody is like off camera. Toney could have faced many good MW and SMW but didnt. even Roy Jones didnt fight Eubank and Benn in Britian when he was at his prime do you think Toney will which Roy made a mockery outta him. Nigel Benn KOed Ian Barkely 3 year before Toney did and did it in 1st round Thats an overstatement. He faced four future/present hall of famers. Nobody overseas wanted to fight. It worked both ways. The thing everyone hates about boxing fans is their blind love for their favorite fighters and the doube-standards by which they evaluate them. For instance, Bozo made that old thread about "Maskaev FLOORED BY A JAB! ROFL" after Whitaker-Maskaev, but something tells me you won't see "Toney FLOORED BY A JAB! ROFL" posted today. ;) Oh, just call it a crazy hunch... Toney has a few truly outstanding wins and performances, but about twice as many lethargic, flat performances where he lost close fights or won unimpressively. He's not an ATG, but he's a very good fighter.

Watch the fight again, you don't know what would've happen if there was a second round, Barkley had the power to KO benn! All I can is that the fans were robbed of a great fucking fight, one of those mother fuckers would've been knocked out, that's for sure! i dont think so because in the G-Man fight Nigel was down twice or three times and one was outside the ring and then he came back strong
