Is this guy a future superstar or just a brawler who has too many faults in his style to ever be a true star?
The guy hits HARD, hes relentless and is a knockout machine (29-1 27KO's!) but hes so raw and doesnt have much boxing skill. His punches are way too loopy and are slow but when they connect man they are bone crunching. He reminds me of Mayorga hes so damn wild.
I believe hes a golden boy boxer not 100% sure but that could work out for him in the future, hes only 26 and could make a big run and set up a big mexican fight against Israel Vazquez, providing that Leon beats Rey Bautista.

He is a Golden Boy fighter. As long as they pick opponents for him who can't box like Caballero, he'll be alright. But then again, you can only avoid those kind of fighters for so long...
he KOed Sod in the 1st round which was partly luck because Sod punch his right hand with whole his body to the punch and he did the same with the left which made an explosive KO. you rarely get this thing happening to counter it. Sod lost in a close discison which he said he was robbed in the first fight but i dont know if it true.
but De Leon is too slopp and abit overhyped over that KO IMO.
