joe is way faster than taylor.
im 100% sure the fight will happen in 2007 and i will look foward to betting with you on it.
how do you come to the conclusion that jermaine is faster ?
ill take that bet.
you sure about that seeing as he has already been beaten twice ?
calzaghe could take taylor's punches and he would dish his own out even more. for the life of me i cannot envision jermaine winning.
I beg to differ, Taylor is 26-0-1 and the undisputed MW champ. He's way to fast for Joe.
i doubt it.
calzaghe is too busy and throws too many punches. he would tko jermaine imo.
hopkins also beat taylor in their first fight as did winky imo
If Calzaghe wants his head knocked off, then he should fight Taylor. There's nobody ar MW or SMW that can beat Taylor.
You got any Hearns, Duran or Leonard fights there? I'll put 'em onto DVD for you, I'm after any of those boxers prime scraps?
Ian
I HAD the SRL vs Duran trioligy but the tape got chewed up! :pat:
Most of my stuff is more modern, Tito, Cotto, Gatti, Tyson, Lewis, Jones jnr career fights and an assortment of random match ups
Id pick Hatton to get the nod over Castillo but i think Cotto destroys Hatton, who is 1 of my very fav fighters! Joe, i just dont like! But he has a good shot of beatin Taylor, he mite just completly outwork him, Taylor lays back on the ropes to much. Hopkins, another i dont particuarly like, would know too much for Joe IMO. I just read Hattons Biography to, good book! Ian, alot of my fights are on tape and aint great quility, im just really starting to build a dvd collection but yeah id luv to trade sum time in the future :biggthump

Ian
your joking right ?
i'd say it was the opposite.
calzaghe is to much for jermaine imo
It's sad that Calzaghe had been the SMW king for nearly ten years and Taylors has still beaten better fighters.
Taylor will put Joe in a bodybag.

how so ? :boxing:
Younger blood, better boxer and a boxer - for me - who is a class above Joe Calzaghe. Bear in mind the dude's beat Bernard Hopkins twice, too. Jumping up a few pounds ain't gonna worry Taylor either.
Calzaghe has had one good fight, Jeff Lacy, and a scrap against a past-his-best Chris Eubank. Aside from this he's like Hatton, a dodger. If he wasn't he'd have scrapped Hopkins or Tarver or Taylor by now. Boxing politics doesn't come into it, dude is a Welsh yellowbelly.
hatton wins both as does calzaghe imo.
what are your predictions for these fights juy ?
I reckon Hatton would struggle more with Castillo than Cotto.
Castillo would do it on points, for me. Cotto on points but with less a margin.
Joe would get a right pasting from Taylor, KO late on, and Hopkins would outpoint Calzaghe by a long margin.
Just my 2 cents...

Boxing Monthly too man! lol! Theres a guy Paul Hitchin duz em for 50p a fight! U can pick a fighters career or just select random fights from various boxers to make a dvd with.
Props
I looked at the 50p guy, going to get in touch with him.
I have plenty of scraps, if you wanted to trade, I ain't gonna charge. As long as I get something back, I don't care.
Like I said, always looking to get a better deal.
Just watching Mosley - Forrest I. Fucking hell, Forrest really battered Mosley!
Ian
hatton vs castillo
hatton vs cotto
calzaghe vs taylor
calzaghe vs hopkins
I reckon that'd make four losses for two British fighters. What are you, man, a glutton for punishment.
Read the Hatton biography yesterday. He's a really nice bloke, but he's dodged every cunt apart from Kosta, kind of takes the sheen off of the book a little.
Where do you get your scraps from, dude? I'm always searching in the back of Boxing Monthly for people to sell me fight cards from the US, but it works out pricey. Any websites I haven't heard of ? I've Youtubed lots, but you can't save Youtube.
There's a guy on here called Boxing Menace who does a really good service, shit hot fights for £3 a pop, lots of US broadcasts, but it's still £3 a fight (no undercard), which is expensive if you want loads of scraps.
I'm always on the lookout for a better deal.

DLH-MAYWEATHER: its gonna beat a solid fight, but its also a very historical fight and one of the biggest in the history of the sport. so its a MUST buy for any boxing fan
HATTON-CASTILLO/MAYWEATHER/CORRALES: Any combination of them makes for an awsome action fight. Even the Mayweather fight would be great. All fights make true wars.
PACQUIOA-BARRERA: Never REALLY liked barrera, like morales better then him. Its a very interesting fight this time around but i think Pacman stops him almost twice as fast as he did last time.
and thats it. because i wont have to pay for COTTO-MARGARITO because I'll be there at Madison Square Garden :D :D :D
Same as u bud! Bar the NFL NCAA

They ain't too far off of the mark.
I'm a sucker like the guy earlier, anything worth looking at. Being in England we don't get to see as many fights as the US folk, therefore I'm forced to pay people to send me fights on DVD from the US. If I had the option to see as much boxing as the US folk do, PPV or cable subscriptions, I'd be spending a heck of a lot of money on boxing...same also for NFL and NCAA football/basketball.
If I had to pick one fight I'd pay for it'd be De La Hoya - Mayweather.
