After watching Rocky Balboa, an Ok movie not great not bad...the highlite of the movie happend when Larry Merchant made his entry comments as on all typical PPV broadcast he always give us a one liner and on the movie I was laughing a storm in the theater...and I sure people didn't understood why but when he said:
"Why are they calling it an Exhibition, becuase they couldn't call it an Execution" in reference to Balboa's task on defeating Mason Dixon....vintage Merchant!!!!No doubt!!
"This is a picture that doesn't need any captions."
In reference to Morales-Pacquiao I when they were in the twelfth round exhausted and giving it their all.
is it just me or is merchant a comedic genius ?
No doubt......
Who can forget on the Johnson v. Klitschko fight:
'The whale has just been harponed...."
I don't know why it's funny but I liked what he said about Jantuah.
"You can see the bright colors of the Ghanaian flag on Jantuah's shorts. You can take the boy out of the tropics, but sometimes you can't take the tropics out of the boy."

Umm, you know that was a movie, and Larry was reading from a script, right? Those weren't Larry's own words. The were the words of the scripwriter.
You are good...man you burst my bubble......chump.....in order to write a script...you need to know the characters and what he wrote is IMO vintage Larry....
