Lacy Vs Miranda who would win?

This is honestly a toss-up. Between Lacy's good chin and his bad defense, though, I'd have to say it's up to him to bring it. I agree with this.......I would be torn in this but have to go with my boy Lacy.Whoever the dumbass I think it was Hooks was who said Lacy is not a good fighter is crazy.Lacy has room for improvement no doubt but has a very long amatuer record and is a very good fighter.He fought his last fight with an injury for 8 rounds that Vitali Klitchko quit on his stool in the 9th round of the Byrd fight he was winning easily with.......Lacy showed in his garceful ass whoopin at the Hands of Calzaghe that he was a Warrior and looked great the first 2 round in his last fight......If he returns and is able to get right again after this injury he will be a force again.Lacy by KO vs Miranda if Lacy is 100% ever again.........In a very good fun fight.

FYI- Miranda walks around at 190-200lbs (in between fights) For his last fight he weighed in at 161lbs. Before he went to bed that night he weighed 178lbs. He was up to 180lbs 4 hours before the fight. In the locker room he weighed in at 178lbs wearing jeans and flip flops. The HBO staff took off 4lbs and called it an offical 174lbs. If Miranda fought Lacy, I would not be surprised if Miranda was the larger guy in the ring. Does this change your opinion?? :owned: I thought the same thing about that comment.

I go with Lacy, though the question is more interesting the more I think about it. My first thought is to say that Lacy is a big SM and Miranda isn't an especially big MW, but then Miranda is arguably a harder-hitting MW than Lacy is a SM. I think probably the telling factor would be the chins. Lacy can be wobbled but can take it, Miranda has shown in two of his last three fights (Eastman/Abraham, natch) that he can be quite (relatively) easily hurt. Miranda is not a big middleweight? I think maybe Lacy's being a little underrated these days. He's not THAT bad. The fact that he even SURVIVED 12 rounds of what Calzaghe did is proof that he's not complete crap. But his aura of strength is kinda in ruins now, so people are naturally gonna say Miranda would crucify him, because Miranda still seems pretty sturdy.

Miranda, this is a no brainer. Lacy isn't a good fighter, got his ass kicked twice. Yeah I guess winning a fight with a torn rotator cuff qualifies him as getting his ass kicked. This actually isnt a no brainer. Miranda has fought one of the elites and he lost, alledged robbery or not. Lacy is plenty capable of winning. If I judge just the first two rounds where Lacy wasnt hurt then I think he could win.

If he moved up to 168 he will be fighting a guy with more power and a better chin. Remember, the kid was severly hurt by HOWARD EASTMAN.

Maybe Miranda as of lately, but I think Jermain would beat Miranda who is getting is ass kissed by some on this board.

Notice how Miranda has only been loved since Taylor couldn't knock out Ouma? Its crazy. He got alot of attention knocking out first class opponent Willie Gibbs in round 1 as well.:rolleyes:

That's a tough call 4 me. I'd have to go with Miranda if the fight was @ 160 simply because he has momentum and confidence on his side. I just feel like in an all out war, Lacy's more likely to get caught with a big shot first.
