He's got Toney down to 1 chicken bucket per meal by riding him daily like a rodeo circuit bullrider and making him eat a bale of hay before every meal. Word is that Toney has gone from a C to B cup bra size and vows to be in a training bra by the Peter fight.

Bad news is that Boozo has been kicked out of training camp and forced to deliver dozens of chicken buckets to the local homeless shelter during training. Good news is that Boozo has spotted some major fatboys down there once the word got out and has several future prospects lined up now!

That number is a variable that depends on an individual's body mass and especially his lean body mass as well as metabolism. I can promise you that someone like Nikolai Valuev would waste away into a skeletal form and would probably be bedridden after a few months of a 1500 a day diet.
If Toney tried to stay on a 1500 calorie diet he wouldn't be able to get through a workout, let alone a fight, after a few weeks. After two or three years of slowly decreasing the amount he eats, sure he could survive on that. The guy is only a middleweight in frame after all. But if Toney were to tomorrow start eating 1500 calories per day, he wouldn't be able to beat a featherweight in a fight. He would be exhausted by the end of the first round. He would have no strength whatsoever.
1500 is way too low of a caloric intake or any heavyweight boxer to be eating. 2000 is what's healthy for a moderately active (goes for a walk, rakes leaves, plays with his kids) average guy weighing 150 lbs. For an athlete at that size you're going to need more. For a heavyweight boxer, you'll need even more.
I don't know how many calories Toney should be consuming per day exactly but I can tell you it's a hell of a lot more than 1500.

1500 is appropriate if someone is trying to lose weight. As long as he is getting enough complex carbs and protein he should be fine.

Once he loses a certain amount of fat he will need to go to normal calorie intake, which might be around 2000-2400 calories for him. For now, he needs protein as a high percentage of his 1500 calories so that his muscles will be fine as he loses weight.

I have it on good word that this is Toney's last fight. He's gonna take his prize money from the fight and start a specialty Chicken Bucket franchise. He will be deep frying whole buckets of already deep fried chicken in a patent pending double deep fried process and single handedly create the first chicken bucket only franchise. Then of course, once he starts to SUPERSIZE his buckets for all the budding chicken bucket connisseurs, well, goodbye KFC and hello JTS!

toney is on 1500 calories per day lifting weights running ans eating nothing but chicen fish and vegtables right now.. toney said he was only going to fight 2 or 3 more fights .. but since he was robbed he said now its 2 or 3 more years and he feelsso great right now purifier his body it might be 5 or 6 more years..
