Is Ouma " Tailor " Made For Taylor ?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Middleweight champion Jermain Taylor will take on former junior middleweight titleholder Kassim Ouma in his hometown this weekend. This is a good showcase fight for the talented Taylor after two bouts with Bernard Hopkins and a match with clever Winky Wright. Although Ouma is a good fighter with a name and a reputation, do you honestly think team Taylor would pick a boxer they weren't sure he was going to beat in Little Rock ?
Ouma is moving up in weight. Taylor is a big middleweight. I see him soon moving to 168 and eventually to 175. I see Ouma putting up a good fight in the early rounds but Taylor will take over and dominate. I cannot see this fight going the distance.
Then I'll be ready for Jermain Taylor -vs- Kelly Pavlik...
I just dont see any way in hell Ouma can get past Taylor's jab and right hand. In my opinion this is a horrible style matchup and I think Ouma gets knocked out. He's too easy to hit with the straight shot for a guy like Taylor to miss. It's just not feasible.

People are also saying that Ouma's defence (or lack thereof) will make Taylor look good. I don't agree because Ouma throws so many punches, but its been said. To answer the question, I don't think so. Ouma's a good, respectable fighter, it should be a good fight.
I can only echo what's already been said.
Ouma is a damn solid fighter who will fight with all of his heart until the final bell rings. Taylor is just too big and too strong for Ouma to beat him. Unanimous decision for Jermain "Bad Intentions" Taylor, I'd stake anything on it.
Ouma is a very good fighter but Jermain is too big, too strong and is too good techniclly for Kassim to win.
I just cant see it happening.
ouma is brave, he'll fight with a lot of heart, but there's no way ouma beats the natural lt hw that is taylor
ouma is a tough matchup for anyone, have a bad night and he will steal a UD, taylor is taking this fight not cause he knows he will beat him but because he is ultra confident and wants his hometown fans see him fight a game fighter and put on a good show
are we going to have to hear the phrase "tailor made" in every single article on Taylor? I mean it's been used at least 30 times since he's fought Hopkins only a year and a half ago. get some new fucking material to whoever wrote that. seriously.
