there are rumors of him turning pro, in either pro boxing or MMA, how do you think he'd do as a professional in either sport? In the MMA I think he'd get his ass beat badly, he's more of a striker than a ground fighter, so I don't he'd do good in MMA. He'd probably make it better in boxing, cause he has SOME god movement and he could knock guys out, but he would just be a journeyman, and not a champion, cause I can't see him beating guys like Peter, Klitchko, Toney, Briggs, etc.
Lenny Mclean never turned pro and Roy Shaw went 10-0 in the pro ranks before getting arrested.
Correct, but the story goes that Danny McAlinden (Irish heavyweight) schooled Mclean him in an exhibition bout in London in the late 70's which put him off turning pro.
Also I have heard differing reports on Shaw, some say he turned pro others say he didn't. Do you have any evidence he turned pro? If if he did its obvious watching some of his fights that he would have been a decent boxer no more although he was obviously a hard bastard.
Viv Graham (who I knew personally through Birtley Boys Club) also claimed to have had a pro career although there is no evidence so.....
No, Kimbo would do OK in the three round tough man type contests but would get outclassed in the pro's.
He is a good streetfighter but many have tried and failed in the past.
A famous British street fighter Lenny Mclean (Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels) tried and failed as well as others Viv Graham, Roy Shaw etc.
See Lenny and Roy's unlicensed bout below.

Did'nt Kimbo Slice lose to a Police officer in boston named Sean Gannon?
Yes, he did.
Kimbo is 39, has no stamina and his only real quality is power.
He wouldn't make it in either sport in my opinion.
That's a joke I hope.
You've gotta consider, the guys near 40, has no boxing experience, and I can not really make a good judgement from seeing him thump a few random brawlers around who he usually has large advantages in weight, size, and a long reach over.
The only telling time I seen him was when he brawled for about 10 mins with a fat ex-cop, and then his stamina was so bad he got raped. Realisticly, I see him beating a few poor level opponents, amassing a decent KO percentage, and then the highlight of his career, he could get brutally KO'ed in 1 by Butterbean.

Thats intresting if true but from what ive seen a boxer would school him and a puncher like say Peter would flaten him
