PAC vs PBF -- who has the better resume?

Before I begin, I admit: I am not as knowledgeable of the weight divisions under Super Feather, as I am the rest, anyway both of what I feel were key wins or fights: Manny Pacquiao Erik Morales (twice) Marco Antonio Barrera Juan Manuel Marquez Oscar Larios Jorge Julio Lehlohonolo Ledwaba Wethya Sakmuangklang Key up coming fights: Marco Antonio Barrera II (maybe) Floyd Mayweather Jr. Jose Luis Castillo (twice) Diego Corrales Carlos Baldomir Zab Judah Aruro Gatti Jesus Chavez Genero Hernandez Carlos Hernandez Angel Manfredy Sharma Mitchell And a plethora of others I could of mentioned, but decided not to (like: N'dou, Vargas, Genera, Sosa, Corely, Pep) Key up coming fights: Oscar De La Hoya. Personally, I don't even think it's close. Floyd by a mile and a half.

MAB was NOT in his prime The Prime MAB will be kayoed a lot earlier than the 2003 version. since the loss to Morales. MAB was UNDEFEATED since and after the PAC's loss.

5lb difference. PAC weighed 141 on fight night...not out of the stretch of the imagination. Let me say again, Floyd's last five opponents at 135 would crush PAC. LOL now you're saying last 5 opponents AT 135, you didnt' mention 135 earlier that's why i reacted. but anyway, pbf only had 4 fights at 135 and 2 of them against castillo. and you know why? because pbf probably can't make weight anymore that's why he moved up. and after 3 fights at 140, moved up again. why? probably the same reason. so even if you say pbf started at 130 where pac is, that's like mentioning pac who started at 108! and pac still easily makes 130! your initial assumption don't hold water.

is it obvious or not? :D Genero Hernandez - possibly Jose Luis Castillo - never Oscar De La Hoya (fighting in May) - possibly Gatti - never Diego Corrales - never man, inform yourself on how loose HOF standards are Oscar is first ballot HOF moreso than anyone pac has faced Hernandez should go in by all means Castillo - if he shows something at 140, he is in Corrales - probably never Gatti - as sad as this is, he probably has a better chance than Hernandez

Floyd has accomplished way more than Pacquiao. He went up and weight and still suceeded. 4 titles in 4 different weight classes.

In my opinion, beating an "old" fighter (De La Hoya) is better than beating a SHOT fighter (which you pretty much described Morales as). if MOrales was shot it was because Pac shot him

whats with all the comparison? they have different style of fighting and that pac is fighting only the best at his division and PBF has only stepped it up now for fighting de la hoya in order for him to recognize that he's the best but we never know if he will win this coming may against ODLH..

Pacquiao scores knockouts waaaaay above the weight class he started at. Floyd Mayweather may not get a knockout for the rest of his career. Don't say the win is all that matters...sometimes how you win is a big factor. Oh, and I'd scratch Arturo and put Corley on that little list you got going. Arturo is shit. Overall Mayweather has the better resume. I agree with you (especially when talking about two great fighters) that style matters. But the sport is not called Knockouts, its called boxing. Now if you were saying that Floyd is significantly more boring than Pac I wouldn't disagree at all. But if we're comparing them as fighters then excitement shouldn't really be a factor (I'm assuming that is why you think that Gatti is crap).

To leave out Lehlo Ledwaba on Pac's record is ridiculous. Ledwaba was a distinguished champion son. The real question is "recently"...who has the best resume in the last 3 years? Sorry, I KNEW I was forgetting someone.

cmon now, lets not blow this Pacmania out of proportion. he beat Barrera and Morales, both past their prime, lost to Marquez. as much as I hate floyd, he beat a prime Diego Corrales and a prime Zab Judah resume goes to floyd head to head, I'll take Manny by KO Diego hadn't peaked when Floyd beat him, and Zab is past his best.
