audely should be the heavyweight champion - has all the characteristics.... and hes a lefty! hes a pretty decent fighter, and i would like to see him put on a clinic against skelton... but i just dont see it happening

That fight with Jerome LeBanner is NOT mma, it's k1 kickboxing. Skelton fought in PRIDE against Tom Erikson (wrestler) and got taken down and choked by a very disturbing move where Erikson grabbed Skeltons throat/adams apple and just squeeze as hard as possible with little technique. It is refered to as the "rape choke" by MMA fans. That type of choke was outlawed and banned from PRIDE the day after it occured. Skelton has not been in MMA ever since the incident.

Skelton has proved to me that you dont need an amatuer record to do well in boxing.

skelton will brutally KO fraudley The thing is that if it went to talent or any physical barometer, Ordinary would absolutely batter Skelton. But then Danny Williams could be a world champion .... Nobody dislikes Harrison more than me (nothing to do with boxing ... long story and nothing to do with me thankfully) but if he gets his game together he obliterates Skelton.

He's fat, he's round, he bounces on the ground!! Its matt skelton Matt usally fights pritty dirty,on the inside alot imo. from the fights ive seen anyway. Pritty boring fighter. Thou his last outing againts danny williams was completly different. Dont think harrison will have the bottle to beat matt.

What is the deal with this guy? Has anybody seen his fights? I remember seeing his fight in Mixed Martial Arts in PRIDE Fighting (www.pridefc.com) and he got choked out relatively quick and beaten up bad. I know he was also a K1 Kickboxer as well and wasnt never all that good. Then one day I'm looking through boxing rankings and all of a sudden notice that he's a ranked Heavyweight. crazy. It's probably better that he's foccusing full time on just boxing alone. What do you guys think is his potential? Could he ever be a contender. I've never seen him fight but he's the number one ranked British heavyweight and has been trying to get a shot at Valuev's belt of lately. I don't think that Skelton will amount to anything unless he fights someone ranked that's not from Britain.
