Mayweather should leave HBO,he got screwed on his undercard, while Klitchko got Laila Ali and Kevin Kelly to open for him.People really got their moneys worth with Klitchko memorable night, but booed all night at Mayweathers.
HBO wake up,you r the one killing boxing.Should have made Klitchko your star. Now its back to square one.:nonono:
I've been suggesting the possibility of fighters going to ESPN:
There you can get bigger exposure. If you need to get a big purse for a fight, so make it PPV just like HBO does...not every PPV fight has to be $50, you can have some that are 30, 20, or even $10...then again, just have ESPN make an exclusive boxing channel, which they probably would do if every fighter signed with them. The constant replays alone would be worth it because ESPN viewership {not sure it that is a word} is much bigger than HBO.
ESPN is also better with bringing in and showing commercials because it runs it station like a "regular" channel, like you see on "regular/national" television. Commericals can be on split-screen while the fighter is in between rounds, stamped on the refs face, on the ring card girls titties and ass, etc.
As far fetched as it sounds, its a good idea. This past season of ESPN Wednesday and Friday Night Fights was one of the best. There were several good bouts, and with the incorporation of The Contender folks fighting too, it was great
ESPN is the Mecca of sports channels. If they could have a gaurantee, which could be possible if boxing had a Union, League, Commisioner, etc. ESPN would jump at the chance to have top rate talent. The only reason they put the fighters they have on is because they don't have the top rated talent at the moment.
ESPN had college football, then they went after the NFL, why? because that is where the big boys play.
ESPN has Wednesday Night Fights, and their Friday Night Fights and The Contender. I don't know if they'd want more boxing. Also where would they fit it in. They have college football, basketball, baseball, golf, football, and others.
I think stuff will remain the same unless there becomes a boxing channel.
I think it should be the other way around and hbo should leave Mayweather.Hbo has paid him alot of money and he has provided nothing for them but boring fights against B and C level fighters.I wish hbo would leave Mayweather and give some of that money to pac and Winky and guys like them who fight the best available.
Are you the same person that is supporting Hatton fighting Urango?
What a fight that is going to be. Then again, Two "B" fighters fighting would make an entertaining fight, so I maybe you are right.

Something's wrong with a B fighter? What fighter at welterweight would you give an A. Dont' even tell me Margarito...
Floyd did what he had to do to win the fight. Why give someone who weighs 162 fight night a chance to bang you to the body. Anyone who thought he was gonna give Baldomir a chance to land was fooled. I didn't buy the fight.

Why didn't they boo Baldomir? They should of thrown trash on him as he left the arena. He's the one who fucking sucked dick.
because they know their shit and apparently you dont :D:p
cant agree more.Still its HBO that fooled everyone into believing he was going to decimate Floyd.
they only fooled the casual viewer. most ppl knew PBF was gonna win but we hoped he would do it in a fashion which made it worth buying the PPV. liek i said i dont even consider what he did boxing. i love to see a good boxer dominate a brawler but wat he did wasnt even close

cuz he tried. he tried to catch PBF but he just ran away the whole time. what floyd did wasnt even "boxing" i am a fan of his but that preformance was sub par. yes he did wat he had to do to win but if he has to run away from a dude for 12rnds to win then i cant call him a great

What more could of Baldomir did? He chased after after Mayweather for twelve rounds trying to land anything possible. Just couldnt connect.
lol ppl booed PBF cuz that fight sucked:sleeping:
