Did you know that Nigel Benn, at a Q&A dinner at the weekend, revealed that when he first turned pro he only ever hoped to have achieved southern area title level, British at best.

I enjoyed the beating Hamed got from Barrera so much I bought the video on Ebay so I can watch him being humiliated again and again.
He failed at his first big test and never came back for a re-match like a champion should.
At the end of the day Naz could lay claim to the WBC, WBA (Vasquez), IBF, WBO, IBO and WBU (Kelley) titles! He's the best featherweight of the 90's and biggest puncher in the history of the division. There's nothing fake about that. And he wasn't even at his best at featherweight (Robinson and Badillo fights aside), he was at his scarey best at bantum and super-bantum. I just think Naz lost his hunger for boxing in 1998, long before Barrera defeat.
But I love Nige :)
Show me an American who feels the same way.
Benn has a point.
What did the guys Naseem Hamed fought have to offer?
