However, Golota handled himself like a champion against Ruiz, who he beat in my opinion, and against Byrd. I think if he could stop self-destructing, he could be, and should be a heavyweight champion. Maskaev could beat any heavyweight in the game as of now, I think he wouldn't have a problem with Wlad, Byrd, Ruiz, Valuev, and I think he could have manhandled Vitali if it came down to it. I can agree with that. He was just scared as piss you got to admit. I never checked into the guy he fought record, but have you ever seen someone make their pro debut against someone so experienced. true.true..

The guy he fought in his pro debut fought 4 guys that had winning records up to his fight with Oleg. eight of who were making pro debuts and the others all had losing records. Maybe he was managed horribly. But in boxing I don't ever think there is a lucky punch. What's considered a lucky punch. if you get Knocked by a punch that's what it is. I'm standing by that. Oleg is one of the worst managed fighters in history. In his pro debut he fought a guy that was like 26-1. Johnson was scared to death of Oleg in that fight and got lucky. I am standing by that. The guy he fought in his pro debut fought 4 guys that had winning records up to his fight with Oleg. eight of who were making pro debuts and the others all had losing records. I agree that maybe Oleg shouldn't have been fighting Tua or McCall that early in his career. But Johnson was 29-0 with 21 KO's going into that fight. I don't think it was a lucky punch. I heard Oleg stopped Vitali in the Amateurs. You can throw out the McCall and Tua loss( in a fight Maskaev was winning if I recall correctly) He never should have been fighting them that early in his career. Oleg hasn't fought top opposition in 7 plus years expect Rahman and like I said He's been knocked out by guys that weren't even top fighters. He would have trouble with Wlad.
