Trinidad vs Lacy

I have many times in the past said that size is overrated, because it is. However, size can be an issue in some match ups, Lacy vs. Trinidad is such a match. When two sluggers with minimal skills collide, the bigger one takes less damage everytime. Trinidad would have to completely change his style to have any chance to beat Lacy, and that ain't gonna happen!

Trinidad should stay retired. It's better for everyone.

Give Lacy another year and he will have a bandwagon again, he just got beaten by a better fighter, he's not as one dimensional as they say. Lacy would KO Trinidad before 9. True.......I for one never jumped off.....he is my main man.

Who wins in this perfect match up? i think this fight should happen if tito decide to comeback. Tito and lacy both got no defense, both favorite punch is the left hooks, both got very good chins. This fight could be just like corrales vs castillo 1 if you think about it. Their style makes for an exciting supermiddleweight fight. I think tito should fight lacy instead of calazghe cause calzaghe style will easily embarrass tito. Lacy cant brawl with TITO...this shit would end early....TITO's defense is a tad bit better than Lacy's....Lacy would take a beating far worse than the one Calz gave him..

I'm a huge Tito fan, but I dunno WHERE you got the fact that he has a good chin. He had a habit of getting dropped early in fights. He has heart to get up, but not a great chin. I'm also a huge fan of tito & I totally agree with you. Lacy would be too big for him by the way. Now...Can we stop talking about the guy.

Lacy should face fast allround fighters, with good defencive, and show some new skills. His road back should be a build up, we allready know what he could and could not do in the Calzaghe fight. Time to show the new Lacy.

lol..dont know why people keep bringing up Tito..but I think he would be Lacy call me crazy..but Titos punches are crisper than Lacys they both hit hard but Tito has a better arsenal of power punches in my opinion physical strenght dont mean much in boxing.

Lacy will be a stronger fighter but he doesn't have any defense at all, he's easy to hit. Tito has face fighters that were stronger then him with no defense and he won easy by knockdowns. I think it makes sense for this fight to happen. Both last fights lost by a 1 sided beating by two very good slick fighters. Well winky ain't slick but you get my picture lol. Tito has been knocked down plenty of times (even at 147). The number of knockdowns in Lacy's favor would make sure the decision goes to Lacy, even if Tito got up after all of them and his corner or the ref do not stop the fight

I would be curious to see the effect of tito's left hook at 168 however, since the effect of lacy left hook on tito is pretty obvious to me, I would not be particularly interested in the fight
