Great video, Sweet Pea was a defensive savant. I've never seen anyone as slick as him.

Whitaker beat Oscar. Oscar beat Tito.

Jim Lampley is clearly an idiot. And a cheerleader. Sweet Pea beat Oscar, BTW. Wow i couldnt even stand to hear Lampley cheerlead punches that were clearly not landing.

The person who made this post also admitted the fact that Whittaker did a lot of clowning in this fight. Bottom line is Oscar got the decision. It's over and done with just as is the contreversial decision where Tito got the nod against Oscar. I don't agree with it, but it's over and there is no sense in crying about it.

It seems that you won't accept other people's opinion that Whitaker won. I'm okay with that being your opinion, it just didn't happen. Sorry man, I am not taking away from Whittakers greatness, he just lost a close fight.

i dont think mayweather could beat someone who could match him in defence and speed like that, would be a cool fight though :banana: i agree with you. Whitaker is faster and could slip better Mayweather could slip but not like whitaker but he has the shoulderroll thing going one. I havent seen much of Whitaker to talk about his stamina but i seen the Roger Mayweather fight he did had that much i could say. As the end i think Mayweather could win because of the stamina. when you loss stamina you do not only loss your legs but also your think and concentration. and Mayweather Jr is one of the few fight who could think clearly when fighting in later rounds

He did the same fucking thing with Taylor-Hopkins and Taylor-Wright Your gonna tell me Whittaker did more to deserve that fight when all he did was run around the ring, dancing and clowning for the judges like a little bitch. I think he would beat camacho in 2 different possible ways: 1) as weird as it seems, I think he might make it phisical with camacho (weird, but look at pea's legs ad you'll know what i am saying) 2) he was just plain faster, so he could win a chess match, too as for mayweather... floyd hasnt been as succesful at 147 so far. I want to see more. talentwise it is an incredible matchup. maybe floyd, being less prone to showboating, could eak out the decision... what about mayweather jr?

i think so too.. my mother who is a casual fan has even heard of him.. i didnt follow him growing up but ive seen a handful of his fights.. he is just amazing.. pure boxer.. the showboating is a plus too.. man he shouldve fought meldrick taylor

I agree that the HBO commentators are cheerleaders, and I definately beleive they do the same for Taylor and that he is extremely overrated. They are wanting Taylor to be the next big thing as soon as Oscar retires, but I just don't see it in Taylor. God I miss Sweet Pea!!!!!! The DLH fight was one of the moments in boxing where I was so outraged I almost quit watching...How can u beat a guy you can't even get close to hitting?

gotta love this guy man. I wonder how he would do with Camacho and Mayweather jr? At least they were active andtrying to fight Whittaker wasn't there to fight he was there to dance aroud the ring and clown and try to win rounds by being animated towards the judges. I don't see how you can anyone can say he won when he ran around the ring the majority of the fight. Oscar may not have dominated but he won a close fight.
