I believe that Holmes was one of the best heavyweight to utilize his physical attributes. He had a better chin than Lennox Lewis, quicker and harder jab than Lewis. There was a fighter named Ernie Shavers that hit much harder than Mike Tyson. And Holmes beat him. Yeah....Shavers nailed Holmes pretty good but he took it and kept on beating him. Unfortunately, Holmes was under the shadow of the most popular boxer in history: Mohammed Ali. Hence why he's not as popular as he should be today. and he took visible pleasure in humiliating ali this ade all alim fans hate him!

yeah he does but his reach is too short to have a killer jab. Toney's jab is a methodical jab, it's not really a weapon. Toney's jab is just to set up a right hand, Holmes believed in his jab greatly, it was a weapon.

Larry Holmes' jab may be the most consistent jab in heavyweight history. It was snappy and the way he stepped into each of them made them into weapons that dominated fights. If you look at the two Shavers fights, you can see how mean that shit was. He took over fights with that jab. The heaviest jab belongs to Sonny Liston, he knocked teeth out with that jab.
