NYC prospects "Kid Chocolate" Peter Quillin and Jorge Teron will appear on a Nov. 3 Cedric Kuschner card rumoured to be headlined by David Tua. That's gonna be some awesome shit, I was at the last Tua fight against Eddy Guttierez, it was some dope shit. I hope it's at the Ballroom again, that place is hot.
i was reading at david tua's forum there s a poster who "knows" him well, and said that tua wouldn't go under 240lbs... let's hope tua did like HE said that he was going to train again just after his fight and that he stayed in shape and that at each fights he will drop a little weight until he reaches his optimal weight! this guy's prob is just weight!
I think Tua's biggest problem is motivation and inactivity. Tua is like a poor man's Mike Tyson.

Oh, sorry. For some reason the Eveready bunny popped into my head, how it keeps going and going in a sort of forward lumbering manner, but Everlast is a good one too.
If he fights frequently and consistently, then it would be a good matchup to see him face off against "Eveready" (I like that) Valuev, or get a crack at Klitschko. That would be something I'd like to see.
Its Everlast, the brand of punching bag he is.
The three major concerns are, the wear and tear he's taken over the years. Has he much left. His weight, he needs to get that down much lower than it has been, he needs his old punch output back. And thirdly, his motivation, has he still got the desire to want it. All these questions we'll hopefully find out soon.

Tua himself says it straight up that he isn't ready for a title shot. If he gets it, I hope its against Nicolay "Everlast" Valuev. Maskaev rematch would also be cool.
All Tua needs is a couple quality wins over some decent opponents and then he'll be back in the thick of things. IMO, his biggest problem is his inactivity and long layoffs.
In Tua's last fight, he looked decent albeit against a lower-tiered opponent in Gutierrez. However if David stays active, he's only 3-4 fights away from a title shot.

Tua's been looking okay in his comeback? I hope so, I always liked him and thought he had potential to achieve more than he actually did.

Whats with all the ebonics? lol. I'll be looking forward to see how Tua progresses with his comeback, it's not all over yet for him, I think he has more to offer.
The ebonics is cuz I feel like it. If you need a translation, PM me. Tua is the man.
