I agree season 2 was better to watch i think mainly cos there were a few knockdowns and the fighters were so low skilled many rounds were just brawls with wild punches being thrown non stop
in all honesty i cant see a single fighter out of any of the two series doing anything major
In Smith's win over Randall Bailey he looked like the real deal to me. The contender series seems like it set him back with a long layoff and now his comeback fights have been against mediocre opponents.
The 2nd series was terrible quality and many of the fights just seem to degenerate into brawling with very little skill. The fact the guy who won it if im not wrong had already lost 10 or 11 times shows the quality of the fighters.
series 1 was way better.
series 2- They had bums and so many fighters in their 30's with children, who were not good enough when they were younger and this tournament was their last chance.
At least in series 1, you had up and coming fighters like Ishe Smith, Sergio Mora, Peter Manfredo.
I forgot about Smith, he has some real talent imo.
Series one was much better in my opinion. They had some decent prospects not alot of journeymen like two had. Just look at the winner of two and that will tell you what you need to know. Forbes was probably the best fighter out of both, but he was just too small to win the final.
