would you rather lose a lopsided decision and get embarrassed by someone like Ali or Byrd - or would you rather get knocked out early by Foreman or Tyson?
I don't know what's worse: getting beaten by Ali for twelve rounds or by Foreman for 2 minutes. :puppy_dog
i'd rather get outboxed. only if i dont also get the shit kicked out of me physically as well(like lacy-calzaghe...dude was beat physically bad, and mentally). if i was just simply outboxed, but not beat up i'd rather get that then gettin knocked out. sumtimes fighters never recover from gettin knocked out...like Fernando Vargas(dude was done after Tito physically hurt him and knocked him out in the last round).
To say you went the distance with some guys would be like a win. James Tillis bragged for years about taking Tyson the distance.
So did Mitch Green. His claim to fame was that he was the first guy to go the distance with Tyson.
No way would I want to be KO'd by Foreman or Tyson early on, or later for that matter.
I think I'd rather get beat mentally and physically for 12-15 rounds by Ali just so I could say I went the distance with Ali.

Honor and pride can both keep you alive and eventually kill you.
Definitely, of course I know my limits and I know my trainer wouldn't let me get hurt.
I'll be real, I hate getting tired alot more than getting hit. An early exit wouldn't be bad in the long run, but I'd stick it in there and get my ass kicked late just to save face.
