this will be a good fight. But, damn, they should have made Collazo vs Quintana instead if they wanted a PR vs PR battle of slick boxing. then it wouldve been a snoozefest. besides, collazo should not get a title shot after he just lost his title. he should earn it back.

cotto went thru a lot to make 140. i cant wait to see him at 147.

Listen up my friends. Quintana is the best fighter Cotto has matched up against. Quintana has the speed, not only of hand but of foot also. Cotto is very patient and a good stalker, but it will not be enough. Cotto moving up in weight could help him, or we could find out that 140 was his strength and that he will lose what size/power advantage he needed as he moves up. Steve is just the better boxer, and yes, I am willing to bet on this...it'll be a big win for Quintana.

Remember,Quintanas a better boxer than Paulie n Paulie wasnt totaly out-gunned,and Quintana can punch 2,hes a very slick and good fighter,there's a good chance he can win,its very close IMO Remember, Cotto has been absolutely weight drained and looked like a skeleton at the weigh ins for his last 5 fights. Not being being cocky im just saying Cotto hasnt been at his best for a while. We will see Cotto at his best on December 2nd when he no longer abuses his body to make weight. If Cotto brings his A game, and comes up strong at 147 like everybody expects him to, he'll win hands down, if not, he could be in for a long night as Q fights at an insane pace. Should be a great fight, very tough for both fighters.

It will be a GREAT fight. I think cotto's power will end up being too much for quintana. I think Quintana can actually hurt cotto though. Either way, I think it will be a knock out. With Quintana having a 2 out of 10 chance of getting the knock out.

Cotto could win this fight.. But it is a mojor risk. Cotto knows how to box.. He will need to do this threw the whole fight. Either one gets tagged someone is going down.. Ima be taking bets on this fight. I got Cotto. 1 bil.. how about it?

like I always say ..this place is just infested with cotto haters. why are they Cotto haters if they pick him to lose? it's not like Cotto is a great fighter or anything. He's done well so far, but he's shown a LOT of vulnerability. Plus, if he's half as bad as Trinidad at dealing with boxers then he's in for a long night. I hope he wins, but it's not like it's a guarantee or anything.

I think Cotto wins, but this will be a godd test, and honestly would not be surprised to see Quintana pull off an upset. I do think that 147 is a better weight for Cotto. I think he will be more comforatable at that weight than Floyd. Floyd is a small welter. That would be an interesting fight at 147.

well said.....julio looked alot like trinidad in that fight. if you watch that fight closely.....even the way he worked off that left leg........which spelled doom for him when he fought winky........too predictable.

I like quintanilla he has tremendous boxing skills but doesn't ride on his bicycle all night he actually stands and fights
