Barrera-Juarez PPV Update Thread

there is not question about who the better boxer is. i do agree with you somewhat, but still, barrera wasn't very impressive in my eyes.. he'll have more difficulties when he fights someone who'll TAKE IT TO HIM...i hate to "nut-hug" but i still think pac would give him a lot of trouble (not sayin he'll beat barrera in the rematch). I would pick Pac in a rematch, but I don't think it would be a decisive.

I was more impressed with MAB in this fight than the last. I had him winning the last fight, but not as widely. He knew he couldn't stand toe to toe, so he gave a boxing lesson. The point of bxing is to win. He gave Juarez as big a boxing lesson as Wright gave Tito. While tey aren't the most exciting fights to watch, they are valid wins by champions doing what they needed to win. What I want is mandatory drug testing for judges. i wasn't impressed by Barrera AT ALL. alrite, he outboxed juarez, period. could he damage juarez at all? HELL NO. jab move jab move thats what he did all night long. and..as for juarez, he'll never be a long-reigning champion like i said, he's a small version of david tua. reluctant to let his hands go, can't deal with good jobs, he was just outclassed in the boxing department. Barrera is a fucking joke of a boxer, all he did was run + jab the whole fight, PACMAN will knock his out if their is ever a rematch.....how are you gonna run the whole fight and talk shit in the end? lol

12th Rd Juarez knows he needs a KO. He's throwing hard and off balance to start. Barerra took control again. Fighting at a distance, ruling with movement and jabs. 118-110 MAB It was too easy.

Rd 11 A fight has broken out, but it was a fleeting moment. It's back to stick and move for Barerra. Now back to wrestling. I'm waiting for one of their managers to throw a chair in the ring... Another fight broke out. This one lasted a bit longer, but not much. Barerra is back to controlling with his jab and movement. 108-101 MAB

I'm glad I watched the Hearns-Leonard and a nice discussion with Leonard, Hearns, Bert Sugar and Brian Kenny besides following the Round by Round of this, since everyone is saying this fight is boring.
