Do you understand the word Underrated?? Maybe you don't know these guys very well, I don't judge boxer by hall of fame, I judge them by my eyes! You forgot to mention the 5 greats from this era, that was easily the best era in boxing history and I'm sure that many will agree with me about this era!
U believe the hall of fame is wrong?
The 5 greats u speak of would be Hearns, Leonard, Duran, Mugabi? and who?
They were NOT great middleweights.
Mugabi's first fight at middleweight was Hagler.
Hearns first fight at middleweight was Hagler.
Leonards first fight at middleweight was Hagler.
Durans first fight at middleweight was Hagler.
They were NOT great middleweights.
I think many of those hall fo farmers are overrated!
Like I said the Hagler era was the best era in the history of boxing in my opinion, we will never see another era like that.
BTW most old boxers gets way overrated by Ring magazine and others!
lol. Overrated?
Vito Antuofermo,Mustafa Hamsho,Juan Domingo Roldan,Fulgencio Obelmejias,Alan Minter,William Lee,Tony Sibson,John Mugabi,Sugar Ray Seales. NOT HALL OF FAME.
See the difference.
So why was Haglers era the bst in history?
Not compared to Robinsons. No fukin way, nope nope nope. Im afraid not. e.t.c.
I'm a boxing historian my friend! ;)
Ok thats good to hear! Me too. The problem (if you can call it that) with me is, when I think Im right, I think Im right. I just think being such a big fan of a certain fighter blinds someones judgement a little. I suppose everythings up for debate but we might have to strongly disagree on this one ;)

Would you ever be willing to digest some of Robinsons achievments? Would you be willing to read up in him and some of the fighters he fought? And even watch some of his fights? It would be a eye opening mind changing experience!! ;)
Roberto Duran
Thomas Hearns
Sugar Ray Leonard
Vito Antuofermo
Mustafa Hamsho
Juan Domingo Roldan
Fulgencio Obelmejias
Alan Minter
William Lee
Tony Sibson
John Mugabi
Sugar Ray Seales
BTW Hagler beat everyone in the best era of boxing history!
They are not on the same level as...La Motta x6,Zivic,Kid Gavalian,Henry Armstrong,Turpin,Graziano,Maxim,Fullmer,Carmen Basilio.
HALL OF FAME.
There is a big difference.
Off the head good fighters
Hagler: SRL,Duran,Hearns,Mugabi,Roldan,Obelmejias,Antuofermo,Seales,Colbert
compared to
SRR: La Motta x6,Zivic,Kid Gavalian,Henry Armstrong,Jannazzo,Levine,Bell,Jimmy Doyle,Belloise,Villemain,Turpin,Graziano,Maxim,Fullmer,Giardello,Carmen Basilio
OBVIOUSLY SRR WINS :boxing:
The thing that makes Robinson so great is not only the fact that he beat guys like Sammy Angott, Marty Servo, Fritzie Zivic, Marty Servo, Sammy Angott, Jake LaMotta, Henry Armstrong, Kid Gavilan, Carl "Bobo" Olson, Bobby Dykes, Randy Turpin, Rocky Graziano, Joey Maxim, Rocky Castellani, Gene Fullmer, Carmen Basilio, Paul Pender, Denny Moyer, Terry Downes, Ralph Dupas, Joey Giardello,
But the fact he beat all comers. He had so many fights beat all contenders. The list above is all the champions and great champions he beat. If some of you don't recognize some of the names, then do a search and you'll see who these guys beat and how good they really were!
Now Haglers, good but without the vast range! The best guys on his record are:- Roy Jones ( only kidding this was a poo roy)Vito Antuofermo, Alan Minter, Mustafa Hamsho, Tony Sibson, Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, John Mugabi, Ray Leanard.
As you can see the records don't even compare! Haglers, while good does'nt even have the range or depth ;)
100% spot on!
I'm 6' 2" No you don't if you say he only beaten welterweights.
Im 7'5.
I didnt say he ONLY beat welterweights.
U name me his best opponents.
Hagler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know if you can oversimplify the question like this. SRR, over the course of his career fought many good fighters, far more than Hagler did. But you can take Hearns, Duran and Leonard and they stack up extremely well against anyone.
see that you have the razorback icon in your avatar, I assume your from arkanas.. I am too what parts are you from? and on topic, I would have to say SRR, though its close.
Robinson for sure! He beat 12 hall of famers ;)
