I think he lost some speed going up to 147, but I can't say for sure because he took his time with Judah and Mitchell. I think 140 is his best weight. I've heard Floyd spars with guys bigger than him in weightclass so he should be sort of used to some power that Baldomir has. Gatti could have beaten Baldomir if he boxed but he didn't and ended up on his ass. Judah could have beat him too. I think Judah wasn't mentally prepared and Gatti didn't box him. Floyd is always mentally prepared and he could fight many ways.

He moved more & tried to be super fast. With the guys he has fought so far at 147, they were lefty & movers. Therefore his gameplan was to slowly walk them down. His overall body speed slowed on purpose and that makes him look slower. I guarantee you that against Baldy who is a righty & bigger, Floyd will look super fast. Its not going to be because Baldy is slow, its going to be because he changed his style for this fight. If he fought another guy, then he may again fight slower and try to walk them down As I said in my post, on the flipside, he looked alot faster against Demarcus Corley than he did against Mitchell & Judah, all of which whom are lefties.

I'll judge what Mayweather's speed is like in the Baldomir fight. Mitchell and Judah are alot faster than Arturo Gatti. They were southpaws too and he fought alot more cautious against them. But you could be right, when he fought another southpaw, Demarcus Corley, at 140lbs. he looked quicker than he did in both the Judah and Mitchell fights. I still say wait to see how he looks against Baldomir.

hes gonna look quicker than baldy weather hes 140 or 147 but hes gonna need the extra 7 ilbs to fight baldy coz baldys gonna walk through hes punches as it is but if he aint as heavy hes gonna be even more feather fisted . but at the same time mayweather is gonna have to be very quick to hit nd move because he wont of felt power like baldy can throw (even tho he aint a ko specalist in this division) and mayweather is gonna get hurt worse than he has in hes carear and this will show weather floyd has got the heart to fight whilst he aint winning or gettting hurt badly

mayweather really dosent look AS impressive @ 147 that he has in the past..looks like he lost speed...do you think the 140 quick mayweather could get the job done vs baldomir? i do Think of the people he fought at 140, and those he fought at 147. Judah and Mitchell @ 147 Corley, Bruseles, and Gatti @140. Which group of fighters is obviously the faster set? 147 without a doubt, so naturally by comparison, he is going to look slower against competition faster than his previous sample set. Justin Gatlin would look fantastic in a race vs a regular joe, but vs another sprinter, of course he won't look as good.
