I am torn between picking Marco Barrera or James Toney. James Toney is one of the greater stylistis of all time and has had the the skill to stay atop the heavyweight division despite being a natural middleweight. That is in an age where top heavyweights are generally 230 and above. Barrera, remains atop the featherweight division in what is today maybe the golden age of featherweight fighters.
Erik Morales. One of boxings most impressive resumes, and took him less than 10 years build it. Protagonist in many fight of the year candidates. A true warrior.
holyfield is a much bigger legend than barrera imo
No argument; but Barrerra's still a top level fighter. Holy isn't....that's why I mentioned him second.

"Legend" is a strong word; but out of the current crop, I'd say probably Barrera, although Holyfield qualifies even if his fights don't anymore.

Thomas "Hitman" Hearns, didn't he fight this year or last year.
I will go with Oscar Dela Hoya.
