Peter weighed in at 250? He looks to be in good ass shape to weigh that much. If he keeps on swinging all wild and crazy, Toney is going to bust him up worse than Wladimir Klitschko did.
HERES ANOTHER SHOT, THIS ONE A BETTER VIEW OF PETERhttp://www.fightnews.com/toney_peter_weighin.jpg
I THINK PETER TOOK TRAINING A LITTLE MORE SERIOUSLY
Toney looks good to go. He needs that weight to stay put when he gets hit by Peter.
It's lights out Saturday night
Thats an interesting fight strategy, come in fat to not only get hit, but stay put while being hit to get hit again. Nice one
I wish my opponents would follow that lead.
In the begining I thought Peter needed to be below 255, But here he looks to be in better shape Than Toney, Looks can be and often are deceiving, I wonder if Toney got the cardio he neede to outwork Peter over a long fight. This should be interesting.
and why are you making it so personal? I was just saying you were going both ways, which is bogus. It's not like I hate you. You're the one with issues, bro.
what is up with that last paragraph? you sound like you're flipping out over this. it's just a boxing website, man. everything will be fine.
Just read this, so I'll respond.
From my perspective, you are the one taking it personal initially because it almost seems as if you want to jump on every prediction I make. If I have misconstrued this, then I apologize; but I do take it a bit personal when I check out a thread I've posted on and see a patterne with the same poster, quoting me and attacking my prediction from the aspect of making it almost personal. I have no problem with anyone disagreeing with my prognoses; but if you start throwing in comments like, "eexpert" and such....or suggesting that I'm changing my prediction, when it is clear that I am not; but merely elaborating on a view I either just thought of or had made previously....to me, it seems personal, and I will respond in kind.
it seems to me like a very unorganized system at this point... maybe someone could talk to Rick or someone to see if something can be done to get it more official for the Boxingscene site, that would get more people to consistently predict, also if it was on the main page (or at least a sticky), it'd be easier for people to see it and remember to pick cause threads can easily end up on page 2 pretty fast on here where people can't see them if they don't look deep
Bullshit.
I was behin you by one point 2 weeks ago, and last weeks scores havent been tallied.
I wasn't referring to you or EvilSaint or Anorak, but I appreciate the passion. I was talking more about the bottom dwellers.
If you mean the prediction league in Team Classic, I've already posted my Toney-Peter prediction there. I didn't post the others, quite honestly, because I don't have enough information on the bulk of the other fighters to feel comfortable making a prediction. I haven't had cable TV since 2003.
I didn't enter that League for a similar reason. There are way too many fights on there that I don't have time to watch or time to learn about the fighters. 3 fights a week was plenty.
I led the Boxing Scene Prediction League so honestly, I'm more of an expert than everybody who was too scared to enter it (pretending they didn't notice all the postings announcing it)
lol, and we all see how well that's doing now... with like 3 posters submitting their picks each week at this point.. :p

So, in short. You're jealous because some posters have seen fit to consider me an expert, even though I have made no such claim. Sad.
Oh trust me, it's self-proclaimed.
