if shannon briggs knocks him out it will be before round 5. of briggs' 41 KO's only 2 have occurred in the 8th round or later. both the TKO variety and both over journeyman comp Turkish kicked Briggs ass with coconuts on his hands. (transporter 2)

Exactly. Sergei is going to be a favourite in this fight, but Briggs will upset him, winning rounds after throwing bombs, briggs has got the heigh, the power, reach etc. Shannon wins by a 10th Round Stoppage Or quicker.

Sergei is very overrated right now after he beat an out of shape Brewster on a bad night...Brewster still gave him hell though, i know most people wont give Briggs a chance, but im prediciting Briggs to win by the 10th round. remember this guy was knocked out by Mo Harris More than half the posters here dont know who Mo Harris is.

i think lyko's power is very overrated. and briggs can stick around for a while (in a fight, that is). but i think lyko would use his skills to beat briggs by UD.

Both are fight out of the DKP stable so this fight does not surprise me. I don't think Briggs ever lived up to his potential, Especially after his loss to Lennox Lewis. There is some talk of Briggs making a serious run for a spot among the top of the division, Emanual Stewart stated in an interview that he fears Briggs is a dangerous apponent for his champ Klitchko. What a cluster fuck the heavy weight div. is now a days!!!!!

Sergei's defense is his head, so it would hardly be shocking to see Briggs put the dude in a Coma.... but I'd say he would survive it and win via mid round KO.

Liakhovich will beat Briggs by a later round stoppage. His handspeed is too much for Shannon's sorry defense and his body sohts will sap what little stamina Goldielocks has. Also, Briggs's power is not an issue; if Brewster couldn't take out The White Wolf with his 5th round all-out assault, Briggs sure as hell isn't going to do it. Maybe now all of this unwaranted Briggs hoopla will finally fall silent where it belongs. Sergei by 9th round TKO.
