Explain to me how I'd "put my rep where my mouth is". A reputation is not a physical value you can put up for grabs. I mean, I guess if I'm wrong on the fight people will think less of my opinion, one way or another, but that isn't going to change regardless of what I say right now. I am almost certain of Peter's victory while you think Toney can't possibly lose. We're both set in our opinions. The difference between us is, my having a strong opinion seems to really piss you off whereas I don't care what you think. If Toney wins, I will recognize him as one of the best heavyweights in the world. That's about the only change in me that result would bring.

Toney is a fat middleweight. A fucking phenomenal fat middleweight, but he will always be a little man fighting in a division of giants. If he would knuckle down to some serious training and go down to 190 pounds, I would back Toney against ANY cruiserweight in the world. He would beat 'em all, and this is coming from a guy who detests Toney. But Peter is a fucking bull with boxing gloves, as Moore once said about Rocky Marciano. His strength is God given and comes from having an incredibly dense musculature and skeletal system. That's something you are born with. A guy like Klitschko had the strength to tie him up when he got close to minimuize his roughhouse tactics but Toney is very physicaly weak at heavyweight. Rahman, Ruiz, these guys all pushed him around the ring in every clinch with ease. Peter is much stronger than Ruiz and even Rahman IMO. He is going to force Toney to fight every second and Toney will not be able to clinch. Toney is in somewhat good condition for his physical state but a lot of his so called stamina is his ability to relax his muscles and only move when it's absoutely neccesary. Peter is going to be on him like a boar on slop, punching, pushing, pulling, and backing Toney up at all times. Look how tired a physically weaker and chinny Rahman had Toney just by pushing on him and exerting his will on him. It won't exactly be a walkover. Sure, Toney will score and dazzle with some nice looking counters, perhaps even get Peter's attention, but eventually when there is that much of a strength, youth, and size advantage, the cruder but extremely durable man will win. Once again, Peter wins this one big.

It's a "pick em" fight.I can't wait for it!

You definetly have a point there.But when it comes down to it,we have one of the wildest punchers in boxing today,against an all time defensive great.Toney knows things that Manny couldn't teach Wlad in a million years. I like this debate, and that's why this will be a good fight. I think it basically comes down to one thing. Can Toney take Sam's best shot? I believe the answere is no. Peter showed against Wlad that he can fight in spurts and be dangerous so that's why I believe he will win. The openings that Toney leaves will make Peter go into wild mode and some of those punches will land, trust me. The problem for Toney in this fight is I don't see him being able to hurt Sam. Wlad hit Peter with just about everything he could and got one "wobble" out of him. Sam won't be afraid to come in there and throw and throw and keep throwing until he hits Toney until it's "Lights Out".

For some reason this strikes me as a bad way to fight Peter. If you remember the Toney-Holyfield fight(when James wasn't officially a bowling ball yet), Evander caught James with some good clean shots early in the fight that hurt him. Toney was able to absorb most of it but still sat there and only moved his head. Against Peter the shots will be twice as hard and twice as wild. Don't be surprised if Toney gets clocked and KOed in the first 4 rounds. For one thing, those stats dont prove much outside of the fist and wrist stats, the rest can be manipulated through weight. I doubt Tyson's arms are 16 in. I saw awile back stats on Big George that said his arms were also 16 in. My arms are 16 in. I'm fairly sure my arms are smaller than George's and Tyson's. What kid is talking about is the actuall skeleton, a fighter's frame, that doesn't have everything to do with how much fat or muscle mass a fighter puts on. I pick Toney to win, that being said, Toney is clearly smaller than Tua or Tyson.
