He doesn't like it, he's got GREAT size to become a heavyweight.
He's only 10 years old but he's freaken HUGE! He's interested in all that damn anime stuff. He's fat but we can get rid of that with training.
His Stats:
10 years old turning 11 in November
Weight: 180 pounds
Height: 5'7
(Size 11 shoe)
My mom's boyfriend's uncle was a boxer, my father was a golden gloves boxer, and my uncle was a boxer. I'm considering getting into boxing, and I want my bro to get into it to. He has so much potential, he's sort of clumsy though. These are the kind of kids that could be the future american heavyweights
If the kid's interested in Anime, then have him watch a boxing Anime: Hajime no Ippo
It's both a TV series and manga. part of it is on youtube.
Having him start out watching Tyson's greatest knockouts ain't gonna do shit if he's used to anime. Knocking a guy out with one punch isn't as impressive if you're used to seeing on TV a guy blow up a planet with his "power".
Trust me, and the guy before me--if he likes anime, Hajime no Ippo will do wonders. Even people who hate boxing start liking it because of Hajime no Ippo. Pretty much everything in it is real, but with anime exaggeration(ex: Dempsey Roll, Tommy Hearns' Hitman Stance, Peek-a-boo, etc.)
What about the white fang tekken and heart break shot :D
I wish someone of them to be real. I think the Dempsy roll is real because Dempsy moves left and right and make combo of hooks

show him the bowe v holyfield fights
I've showed him just about everything, he just watches it and then goes back to his room to go watch tv. I've showed him everything from Tyson's Greatest knockouts, to De La Hoya etc
punch him in the balls and say the only way u can really get back at me is sparring in the gym :D
I always hit him but he tells my mom like a little snitch lol.
I try to show my bro. videos but he never pays attention. He's got ADD and I don't know if it's because of that or what. Me and him have real bad tempers thanks to our dad (He had a temper like you wouldn't beleive.)
it good that you try to connect with your brother.
but you cant force him to do something but you could take him out once in a while and go with you friends and stuff like that.
That way he will develop his personalitiy and maybe you could make him athleth
Show him videos of some exciting fights. When you're watching it point stuff out to him.
Isn't there a boxing manga? He might like that.
Ultimately though if he's not interested he's not interested.
Yah like i said make it somthing u do togeather.

look man just take him to the gym with you sometime. Spar with him or somthing make it somthing you and him do togeather as brothers. If that dont work then maybe he just shouldnt bx. .
He sounds like a big goofy nerd to me. Some kids just aren't cut out to be boxers. Chill man.
He is a big goofy nerd, I come from a long line of Athletes and boxers. I don't know what the heck is wrong with him, my dad was 6'1 and two hundred something, I forgot who he trained who was famous. That sucks though, he's got a lot of potential
