we hardly ever have boxing ppv in this country but the last oe i bought was hatton vs collazo or wlad vs byrd , cant remember which 1 was the most recent lol
I dropped 700 bucks on, and ordered everything directv offered, in 2005. 2006 I did the first 6 months and then just reevaluated why I was buying PPVs with main events I was only mildly interested in with shit undercards, especially when the download was available later that night and sometimes the main event was replayed the following week.
Last time I bought PPV I bought 2 in one night: Cotto-Malignaggi and Hopkins-Tarver. The Cotto card was worth it; the Tarver card was not at all. I skipped the Pac and Roy Jones PPVs and Mosley-Vargas II. I'll probably go ahead and order the next fight I'm really interested in; there have been some good free matchups lately, though...
Not at all.
I've bought virtually every ppv in the past 2-3 years. It's hell on the comcast bill.
But to be honest, the Rahman-Maskaev fight didn't mean a thing to me. And the undercard didn't spark any interest either.
If I would have stayed home I might have bought it if I was bored.
That had to be one of the worst ppv undercards of all time.
Never bought a pay per view... My girlfriend almost had me buy De La Hoya vs Mayorga because she wanted to see DLH knocked out.
I would have purchased Wright/Taylor if it was on PPV.
what do you expect to see in a ppv? gatti vs ward? or pacman vs morales everytime? or do you not pay for heavyweight fights?

Damn, I didn't even waste my girlfriends money on that shit.
