Three of Corrie Sanders career KO's. This guy had the tools to be one of the top heavyweights these last few years and he flat out refused to take boxing seriously.

That is the entire point of this thread. The guy was a monster and had ridculous potential, however he never viewed boxing as a top priority in his career. Personally, if he went into the Vitali fight in excellent shape and had a halfway decent trainer in his corner, the fight would not have been as lopsided as it seemed after the first couple of rounds. He might have even won although I cannot be certain because Vitali was able to take punches.
He was hardly a monster. You're blowing his win over Wlad out of proportion. He was about 38 when he fought Vitali, so getting in shape at heavyweight at that age can prove extremely difficult. He had good power and a good chin, but to call him a monster is overexaggeration. He was very slow of foot and plodding, and his workrate early greatly outshined that of later in the fight. He used to slow down his punch rate enormously as fights went on.

He was a Klaus Kohl fighter, meaning he was never paired with someone he shouldn't have beaten except 1 or 2 times his entire career. The Wlad win was huge, but he was 37 when it happened, and he then went out and got his head caved in by Vitali. He was good, but by no means as good as a 40-3 record would suggest. For god's sake, Rahman knocked him out.

....He was a fucking assasine. People making Wlad out to be glass chinned off his Sanders loss are tools. End of.
