yeah. He still can be a threat. I would still love to see him vs wladimir because of his power. But its going to take awhile before we see that
power? lol,,,he couldnt put maskeav on his back who has a very suspect chin. in fact when was the last time rahman put anyone on there back? he cant crack an egg anymore and he was never that big a puncher even in his prime. he hit the lottery against lewis and has been insanely overrated ever since
Probably, he needs to work on his endurance A LOT first.
endurance really wasn't that big an issue for Rahman in the fight last night.. other than the 12th, he was doing well condition-wise
on the topic.. you gotta look at a couple things
was his last fight close? absolutely
was he in shape for the fight? absolutely
i don't agree with people who say Rahman "gave up" last night, he simply got rocked in the 12th and had to try to get through it
if anything, it should be on Rahman's own terms if he'd like to retire at this point or not.. also, i really don't see any reason for him to retire right now, other than if you don't like him (which many people have admitted to)
After another disappointing lost to Oleg Maskaev. Do you guys really care to see Rahman fight again?
No, the Rock has possibly reached the end, time to make a sound decision about his future in the sport.
I only have 1 thing to say about Rahman, good riddance. He's been a major disappointment who because of the hype of a young American heavyweight and expert management, hes been able to hang on longer than he should've. His legacy is of course in his KO of Lennox Lewis, but that seems like a long time ago now. He's really never been able to correct his shortcomings, which are the ability to maintain your composure under adversity and foot work. I say its a good thing that flat fighters like Ruiz and Rahman have been banished from the upper-sphere of the division, allowing alot of young, overlooked heavyweights the opportunity to get their shot.
strongly agree on all points. good riddance. hopefully ruiz will crumble as well

Maybe against Lamona Brewster or Wlad only because he may have a punchers chance but were all kidding ourselves if we think he is ready to retire.

Damn i expected more would take Rahman down...those weak shots just didnt do it for me,i cant believe how people would say he would have owned Vitali and blah blah blah
I didnt care to see him this time. He has had the largest hype bubble around him for the longest time. After so many dissappointing bouts its a wonder anyone would like him.
Hes not a likable guy in the ring or in the eyes of the public.
