Seriously. The way this guy keeps his hands up and keeps throwing. His body frame and style just reminds me a lot of Margarito. And his attitude in the ring. He'll slug it out just to deliver his bombs. Last night he was very impressive. Can't wait to see him fight again! :D
You are correct and K+ to you. Soto is a way better technical fighter than Marg. He sets up his punches and uses the Jab very nicely. Juarez couldnt get around that Jab at all in there fight and that is what really won him that fight cause he used it forcefully and it setup other things.
Margarito usually just comes forward and throws five to six punch combos at his opponents and uses the Jab as more of a range finder its not as powerfull as it should be. But when a guy decides to trade a little with Marg and stand in front of him that's when they get in trouble cause Margs combos are very strong and every punch he throws in a combo is thrown with power yet very inaccurate. It gets the job done though.
You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to mic573 again
The last time I saw Soto fight he didn't look anything like Margarito. He was actually setting up his punches with a good jab and not just throwing alot of wild punches looking to land.

Ivan Valle, a devastating puncher himself, couldn't dent the chin of Soto who was hit a lot of those looping shots. Soto simply has the more accurate, short heavy punches. Valle looked like a schoolboy being bullied in there, he had that "where are you mom?" look after being downed by a low blow (after being KDd twice already).
I think Valle's a bum!!! I saw him once before, I think it was against Shamir Reyes and I wasn't impressed at all, he spent all night waiting for one big shots, I think Reyes even hurt him on that fight, and Reyes has no power.

I think he throws straighter punches than Margo, he might have better foot work also but Margo has more power and commits more to his punches.

I remember when I watched his fight against Rocky... the undercard of Vargas/Castillejo if I remember and it was crazy watching him throw big punches for every round. The judges almost fucked him on that one if I remember too.
He kind of reminds me of Margarito as well. I think Soto is very good and can make some noise in the 130lb. division. I like his style and look forward to the next time we see him again...
He doesnt seem to be shockingly overrated and no one is calling him the true champ at superfeather even though he won a vacant title against a nobody, so no, i dont think hes like Tony.
what happened to B.Pac?
I didnt hear anything.
About Soto, I think he has better boxing skills,he looks more crisp/faster hands and has a very good double jab and uppercut. I think he beat Juarez very convincingly meaning it wasnt a fluke.Juarez and Soto are the future at 130 and I think Soto can give Manny a very tough fight as well as Juarez.
