I propose an idea

Sometimes Larry Merchant is a dumb ass. He argues with real, tested boxers like George Foreman and Roy Jones, Jr. as if he knows more about being in a ring. Still, I feel like I'm watching my old, senile grandfather for kicks. What will he say? Racist slur? Drug reference? A 'back when I was a boy and banged japanese prostitutes.' I like that. He's old enough that he can run his mouth, get fired, and still have had a good career. I vote for keeping Merchant around until he dies on air.

the only problem i have with hbo is there just too damn biased

I like Larry and all the old school guys. I try to like Fran and Max. Max has a lot of knowledge regarding boxing. Lennox is ok because he has actually been in the ring and has input from experience.

hes okay. he comes out with some really cool lines once in a while, and its worth having him for that. he doesnt talk much either. Its mostly lampley and steward talking.

Larry Merchant is HBO BOXING. All not in favor of this horrid idea, say FUCK NO.

Here in Canada we sometimes get HBO's international feed instead of HBO's regular crew. This happens when there is a fight on regular HBO in the States but they decide to make it a PPV in Canada. If you've ever heard the inernational feed you'd be thanking your lucky stars you have Merchant and Co.

HBO should release two audio tracks for their broadcast, like the SLP stuff (the shit that gets the language in spanish). One broadcast with the annoying dumbfuck Larry Merchant, and one without. I, for one, grow increasingly tired of hearing his alzheimer-like pauses in between words, and his idiotic snippets between what the other two say. All in favor, say I. I think it is a horrible idea-but thats still not to say your not a very special man.
