First of all, please let me say that in my opinion the whole "last American heavyweight champ, the Sovjets are taking over" talk is quite stupid since it doesn't matter where you are from - it's all about what kind of a fighter, what a man you are.

But I think the American boxers are - overall - much stronger. What do you think?
Are you people more focused on whether the next champ will be american or european or whatever? Cmon people, seriously who gives a shit? I just want there to be one great champ, I could care less if he's from the us, russia, germany or france....well maby not france. As long as the HW Div is producing so awsome fights like back in the day i could care less whether the champ is an american or whatever.
lol
you dont sound very partiortic USA4LIFE.

The "Sovjets" are obviously the better, stronger, and smarter heavyweights or we wouldnt be getting ours asses kicked everytime we fight one. Logic my friends...
....You forgot to mention how much faster the "Sovjets" are as compared to the "Amerijets".

Samuel Peter is Nigerian, David Tua is New Zealander, and John Ruiz is Puerto Rican.
Why do people still use the "Soviet" term? Someone already pointed out that the term is obsolete.
Why do we always compare fighters from their respective countries and not by who they are as a boxer? Whenever someone does this it seems like they want to start something.
I was born in the USSR, so I am Soviet; Soviets are people who were born in the USSR.
The Americans just suck right now, so do the Russians.
Brewster would destroy Wlad...
Lyakhovich is the only decent Russian fighter, today..
And whose on that list Russian?
Actually only half of that list is "Russian"
The rest isnt...
stop being so fucking ignorant.
Soviets are better for the moment, that is until Hoskins moves up in weight.
I think Vitali knew that Hoskins was coming for his belt after the Rahman fight so that's why Vitali injured himself on purpose. ;)

Remember the Soviet Union?
Well, these guys gave up after they saw Donald Hoskins's shadowboxing video, they were simply too scared to watch his fight video.
I also heard Vitali Klitschko retired because Hoskins was his mandatory if he defeated Rahman.

You are correct about the issue of it doesnt matter where you from...But overall I disagree with you completely in regards to who is stronger...I is obvious that the Russians are stronger being that the have all the belts...you have the belts then you are the man....

hoskins has indicated he intends to slim down to 150 before fighting for the heavyweight title. he wants a challenge after all doesent he?
i am english, but every british fighter ive seen, despite wether they are good or not(which alot of them are) always seem 2 be tryina break america, and get theyre name over theyre,so that says sumthin for american fighters
Bingo. You haven't made it until you've made it in America.
umm, there is no comparison. the europeans are far far superior to the americans in this division, saying differently shows ignorance or bias or both. and no brewster would not destroy wlad at this point. lemon bruiser wouldnt make it to the tenth before having his face rearranged.
The reason Europeans Heavyweights are such a large factor is largely due to American Heavy Weight Talent playing football and basketball. All the guys who would've had the frame for a modern day Super-Heavyweight are not playing football and basketball leaving Europeans still unable to unify the heavyweight division. Irregardless of American representation in the Heavies our trainers are still used i.e. Manuel Stewart
The Americans just suck right now, so do the Russians.

How many other "Russians" from that list have you seen fighting? Everybody knows Wlad and some people have heard of Liakhovich. Have you seen anybody else?

If we remove Peter and Tua from the American list this is not even close. The 'Soviets' are considerably better at each level and aspect as far as today's heavyweights are cncerned. But rally, why does this matter? We will all be better off when we don't care.
