Curtis Stevens Stoppage

yeah, finally saw this fight this morning.. fair stoppage, the obviously crowd-location biased judges had it for Steven's the whole way up to 7 which is IMO ridiculous, Primera had to know that he wouldn't get a fair decision, if in fact he did win the fight all the way through 8.. i'd say Steven's was probably up on scorecards, but didn't win all 7 previous rounds.. Steven's hit him with an intentional low blow late in the fight (pretty cowardly thing), i was honestly happy to see the TKO.. i don't really have a problem with Stevens or Codrington.. i'm just tired of the NY/Brooklyn/DiBella/Dash entourage team trash talking and disrespect, plus the jumping in the ring when they see fit (keep them out if their not in the corner (trainer, cutman, etc!!)), it puts a serious black mark on the sport in general. If and when they have their rematch, at this point, i hope Primera takes it again.. seeing Codrington in the crowd above when Stevens got TKO'd was priceless btw, check for it.. Btw.. anyone else listen to the broadway boxing broadcasters? happy to hear Farhood but that color commentator (the one with the NY accent :rolleyes: ) has bias written all over him doing his commentary throughout the fight

It was televsed on HDnet on the following night (Friday), not a premature stopage. Stevens threw an intentional lowblow that was dirty glad he got his chin checked. Also good to sse another thread turned into trash talkin.

I agree, I didn't see major championship potential in either but they are decent fighters. I'm not fans of either but I wouldn't wish the Cadrington stoppage upon anyone. let me put it this way, if you get KO'ed without being hable to land any decent shots on your opponent, there might be something wrong with you, hear me JC??
