What is your opinion of Roy Jones?

Although the two don't really mix due to the wording on the second, I chose: An All-Time Great Has-been who should retire He was phenomenal in his prime. But now, no matter what anyone says, his reflexes have really gone to hell. Well not really, they're still impressive, but nowhere near the point at which they were before. He cannot stand up to the great fighters of today right now. He should retire for the good of his name. I agree with this post.....

I wanted him to get his 50 and get outta there, but seeing how he still has a lot of things the old Roy has, but not as good hell might as well try to fight again? Honestly I don't see how people and criticize Roy other then possibly being a bad mistake, because if he actually does go out and fight a big top name and loses, he'll always have my respect because even this late in his career he isn't letting up..

he's an all time great not alot of guys did and do what he does. in my mind all time great hands down

Jones looked mostly like his old self again. I had him winning the Tarver 3 fight, although it was definitely close. Jones should rematch Glen Johnson next. Just hope Johnson gets by Woods, which he should. But who knows? Jones' hit list should look something like this, imo: Glen Johnson Bernard Hopkins Joe Calzaghe maybe Tarver 4 Chad Dawson retire

All time great, but he has nothing left to fight for and shoule hang them up. Good to see him get win #50. I hope he'll walk away now.

I never changed my opinion. Your thread was unnecessary so that's how I treated it. Roy would retire in a close-to-perfect world. In a PERFECT world, he would turn back the clock and beat Joe C. But that is highly unlikely.
