Most underrated today would have to be Israel Vasquez, no doubt about it. Vasquez was thought to be the end of his career when he won the rubber match with Larios. He is the world champion now at 122, and is a clear fave over anyone at 122. The only fight he needs to break through with the public would be a HBO WCB fight with bantamweight kingpin Rafael Marquez. Its a pick em fight between two big punchers who have been succeptible to the knockout in their careers. Vasquez is clearly the most underappreciated and underrated fighter in the sport.
yep, so underrated and unseen that i didn't even think to put him in the thread

Its really hard to say. Maybe Baldomir, he is not the elite fighter but Zab Judah underestimated him and he made the Upset of the Year.
But all the other guys are really near.
Anyways when will Jesus Chavez will fight again
Rafael Marquez and John Ruiz are both very under-rated.
Rafael is mostly ignored because of Juan Manuel Marquez. And John Ruiz is ignored because he is incredibly boring and hard to watch, but the guy is talented.
And so is Mora, but i wont get into that
