I agree with this post so I need not speak........throw in there Chad dawson for good measure.....He is going to be a force to reckon with soon.
Wow you read my mind. I used to think Joe was a sheltered European champ, but after seeing him dismantle Lacy, I was proven wrong. After seeing that, I don't think anyone in the super middles could handle him (but I haven't seen much of Kessler or Andrade). I think Winky is a tough fight for anyone but I think Joe could win because he has great hand speed and would be clearly more powerful than Wink. I could still see Wink winning a UD or SD. My best prospect is Chad Dawson given a few more fights. He has really impressed me so far and is a southpaw as well.
I think Winky would be the most difficult fight out there for him style-wise, but he did look like he was feeling Taylor's strength and power so I'm not sure how he'd cope with Calzaghe's.
Froch would be an easy night's work but Glen Johnson would make him work hard for it, as would Kessler.

Each guy in tht supermiddle weight Div would get destroyd by Calzaghe tht includes Kessler,
Calzaghes one off the most skilld and fasters boxers off his generation the guys been running the supermiddle weight div for years now and i see it going on for at least 2 more years.
Taylor would prob give him his hardest battle due to Taylors style and the a clever fighter who could move up 2 super Mid pretty easy where as Winky is a natural middleweight maybe even Light Mid,
At this stage Andrade isnt even close to competing with a guy like Joe and neither is Froch.
Glenn Johnson...sure he would make Joe work as he does every opponent he is in with but Glenncoffe beat Calzaghe, sorry no way.
Tarver is in hiding so I dont expect him to come out from under his rock anyttime soon.
Bute-I know little of him and have seen some stuff of his here at BS but cmon he is still extrmemly green, talk of him beating Joe is not really realistic at this point.
Kessler appears to be the X factor and I have not seen him fight.
Damn I would love for my boy to fight Bernard "10 punches a round" Hopkins (which is a perfect fight for Joe) but we all know that is not going to happen because Joe is scared shitless.
i think winky would beat him if he fought smart, calzaghs slaps are effective ye,but i dont think they would beat winkys defence,ye,ide say winky would beat him
I think the only guy that MIGHT beat him is Mikkel Kessler. I think once he beats Beyer then Joe and Kessler should get it on to unite all 4 belts. I think Joe would win but it would be a close, possibly split, decision. Apart from that - Tarver? Please. Tarver would get absolutely beaten out of sight. Johnson might give him a row but would lose, Bute - not a cat in Hell's chance.
After the lacy fight I went and watched several of his other fight's and I was impressed, but if he retires with those being his final fight's I will always wonder exactly HOW good he was. I understand he was milking the hometown thing but I feel like he's not a gimmick and could've bettered his legacy and made good money also in the process. I mean here in the US ppl get on RJJ for some of his fight's or PBF etc or anybody that talented. I believe even with a few losses he would've had more big named wins on his resumee and got more respect universally in the long run. He is very good so I'm not knocking him just pointing out unbiasedly the same thing's ppl make about other fighter's of his talent!
i beleive calzaghe will retire undefeated
he should fight kessler next and then the winner of johnson/woods to become a 2 wieght undefeated champion and then retire
but if he can get a fight with jones jr he should take that
I think Winky would be the most difficult fight out there for him style-wise, but he did look like he was feeling Taylor's strength and power so I'm not sure how he'd cope with Calzaghe's.

i think kessler ,tarver,johnson,bute
all have a decent chance o nei'll bell would stop him
I think Bute are to green,he need some more fight,it will be Lacy all over again
