Margarito Responds to Rivera!

yep, that's what I thought, too embarrassing to go down to Margarito's best opponents he actually beat after Cintron and Lewis.

He aint the only one, it's a lot of follower's on here. I couldnt Look at Maragrito and then look at Floyd and actaully allow my lips to make the movements to say Margarito is a huge threat to Floyd. Bob has really done the job this time. your exactly right, and i'm not trying to come down hard on any single person on here, but everyone is saying they want to see the best fights out there and they're not giving any reason why floyd-marg would be the best. it's like floyd said marg is not a house hold name no matter what that snake arum is trying to do. the bottom line is CASUAL FANS HAVE NO IDEA WHO MARG IS.

Charlie is not that bad, he is just a boxing fan that wants to see good fights. In his opinion, which I don't agree with but he is completely entitled to, he believes that Margarito is the best fight out there. If you ask him he will tell you that he doesn't favor Margarito as a big favorite, and he thinks Floyd has tremendous skills. He thinks Margarito right now is more dangerous than DLH or Shane and that is his opinion. He also thinks that Corrales and Genaro Hernandez weren't at their respective bests when Floyd fought them and that Floyd lost the first JLC fight. Really he is just expressing his opinions. We don't have to agree but we should respect his right to have a difference in opinion. Yea, that was kind of a soft challenge. Imean, I know Antonio is a good fighter and all BUT... he got beat twice by Daniel Santos.. so why doesnt he fight SANTOS again? I will be good for him and maybe Santos could win him and its his turn to call out the big boys. :D

Zab was the freaking undisputed 147 champ when the fight was made, what a fighter has a bad fight against a formidable opponent and evrything he has done before then is nothing. Diego, don't try and use logic against those two. I've been here a few days and already know that doesn't work. Lust is obsessed with the "king" Margarito (HOW do you get to be the king when you haven't fought anybody?) and Charlie, "just wants to see good fights"....and yet he justifies why Margarito doesn't need to make good fights. Mayweather feels that Margarito isn't up to his level yet, that he doesn't offer enough money, etc....and it seems that Margarito is playing THE EXACT SAME GAME...with these lower ranked fighters. Collazo is ranked, why not fight him? Shit, Margarito would gain credibility fighting Judah. Judah went 12 rounds with the pound for pound best. If Margarito can knock his ass out then he has more of a claim to fight Mayweather. "I did what you couldn't..etc." Instead, Margarito sits back and fights nobodies while complaining that Hatton, and Mayweather, etc. aren't on their knees asking for a fight with "King" Margarito. I have nothing against Antonio, I just need to see him do something to show the skills you guys say he has. Post some fights demonstrating your boy, we'll pick them apart, and see what we can see. Yeah? About time somebody relizes that Maragrito aint what they say he is, i've never heard a boxer calling out the elite fighters in the game w/o doing something to earn a shot at these guys. please don't judge mexs by that, I honestly feel it's just a publicity stunt, get everybody all hyped up thinking margarito is going to murder mayweather, then mayweather comes out looking like superman just to build his rep up and "shut the critics". basically because mayweather usually always seems to take the easy route...he justs wants to make it seem not so easy :ugh: Whoa, I'm not judging Mexican fans. I'm judging Margarito fans, who just all happen to be Mexican in cultural make-up.

Well he was trying to say that all Margirito fans are mexicans, not all mexicans are margirito fans. precisely. nobody outside the Mexican community is supporting Margarito right now. a lot of people want to see the fight, but nobody is siding with Margarito who isn't a Mexican, which again proves a long-running point I've been trying to make.

And I'm damn sure not Mexican. I just believe my eyes and my own opinion that Marg is a threat. Whoever gets annoyed by people that say Marg is 'the most feared man in boxing' needs to take a look in the mirror as to what the problem is. If you let yourself be affected by comments like that, you'll get flustered and spin 14-page threads about anything. But Marg certainly is a high-risk fight by fighters that are interesting in making 'sound business decisions', ie Mayweather & Wright.
