That was some crazy stuff.
I first that, then decided to change my vote to Benny Paret being beaten to death by Emile Griffith.
It's all how you classify 'injury'
That ear is nasty though. I taped this fight off ESPN Classic a few months ago...

yah that was gross. His wear was just dangling by a shred of skin and one more punch and his ear would have been on the judges table.
It wasn't that bad of an injury, but it looked like Jaidon Codrington was dead after Allan Green KO'd him. I was legitimately scared he had broken his neck.
Barry Mcguigan (who Floyd Patterson and Teddy Atlas once helped train) once killed a man in the ring, Idont remember the poor guys name, was terrible .
The guys name was Young Ali.
Uhh, Michael Watson (obviously).
I didn't see the fights that contributed to deaths like Leavandar Johnson or Ray Mancini's fight. I definitely saw the Tyson-Holyfield incident. But one the gets overlooked a lot is Holyfield-Rahman... that thing looked like a fetus inside of Rahman's head. And they let the fight keep going... Holyfield was punching it. BRUTAL!
There's a picture of Marciano where he has the tip of his nose split in two.
Edit here it is :

WOW,thats horrible
I was going to put when Gabriel Ruelas got his arm broken at the elbow during a clinch; but that doesn't really compare to McClellan or death...but; I didn't see that happen live, either.
