man i just watched baldi gatti, and made sure i found this post ---
baldi would get KILLED by floyd.
GATTI was dancing and duckin and slipping punches thrown by slo mo baldi ,,, IMAGINE what floyd would do.
Baldis face would be that fucked up IF he made it to the 5th round the ref would stop it out of PITTY.
If this fight goes ahead , i dont care about the odds, ive got the HOUSE on floyd.
he was saying Judah won 8 rounds
just read it slow
but i feel stupid judah lost
Juah won 8 rounds in a 12 round fight? ha-ha; even pro-Judah judges saw it differently and gave Judah a LOSS. give me a freaking break
Let me get this straight. Nautilus scores it 10 rounds to 2 for Baldomir, and I get back karma from him? LOL!!! You suck at life, Nautilus.
stop being a cry baby over karma ...
i gave you bad karma for the name calling, and that has nothing to do with having a different opinion than mine
You either were watching the wrong fight or you have a really drastically different way of scoring than I do. Judah won at least 5 of the first 6 rounds, and was pretty much dominated from 7-12. That scores out to be a pretty close fight by my calculations. Floyd whooped on Zab for the whole fight after the 4th round. A much more thorough domination. But even if Baldomir did dominate more... fighter a beats fighter b more convincingly than figher c beat fighter b, how does that mean that fighter a will even have a chance against fighter c. This isn't math class so the transitive property doesn't apply.
transitive property does apply approximately, though not perfectly, in this case
I scored the fight as 10:2 for Baldomir. I though Jugah won 2-3 rounds at most.

Baldomir easily dominated Judah, while PBF did not. They both dominated Gatti. I'd say Baldomir has a chance.
ok lets see dumbie..judah won rounds 1-6 and the last 2 rounds..judah won rounds 1-3 vs mayweather and lost every other round..so thats not a good comparion...but he does have a chance because he's the bigger stronger man
I think Baldy has a shot
I think PBF will underestimate him and get hurt early but still make it throught the fight. Baldy has pretty good accuracy and i think he could find away to get through his good defense{Don't like the man but he's got a dam goo defense}
its logical, but everyone knows it doesnt work this way in boxing.
yes coz when judah fought baldo he did not train enough and he underestimated him as for mayweather he was just outclassed but gave a good fight until the low blow

Yes, I implore you to rewatch the Judah-Baldomir fight, Nautilus it was much, much closer than that. Judah dominated Baldomir until the later rounds...maybe you didn't get a chance to see it or forgot? I just looked up the official scores:
Judge: Guido Cavalleri 115-113 | Judge: Melvina Lathan 115-112 | Judge: Julie Lederman 114-113
So...Baldomir won by 2-3 rounds max...though I believe one of the rounds was probably a 10-8 for Baldy for hurting Judah and making him run...so...I would have to say Baldomir didn't win by more than a round or two. Close fight.
That said, does Carlos Baldomir have a chance against Floyd? Well, he is slow, and flawed- but on his side is the fact that Mayweather will not be able to hurt him. Not in the least. Baldomir can keep coming forward and there's a better chance of Floyd breaking his hand on Baldy's face than hurting the guy. Still, it very well might be just like the drumming Gatti got. They both had the power to hypothetically hurt Floyd, but not the speed. You need speed to get past his defense...BUT we have yet to see Floyd try and respond to constant pressure for 12 rounds against a big welterweight. Same scenario that people predict would cause Margarito to win.
These scores are all bullshit --- I was posting my commentaries on that fight -- and I said from round 1 that Baldi was beating up Judah. The stupid commentators kept talking how Judah was "dominating", while getting his ass kicked. They finally stopped the bullshit when it became obvious that Judah was losing badly. Judges scored many rounds for Judah because Baldy was a huge underdog in this fight.
Shut off the sound and watch the fight again. I implore you. :)
It wouldnt be close. Baldomir is tough, durable, etc. This is a huge advantage when going against someone with a brawler mentality like Gatti, not a pure boxer like Mayweather. Floyd would take him apart.
Agreed. This would be more of PBF-JLC 2.
