as the fight was going on i thought about this fight before it was mentioned and its interesting. I for one was impressed with Green's power but i think that his cockiness inside the ring and his lack of physical size would be his downfall against lacy. I think lacy could move him around on the inside and catch him when he moves around with his hands at his side, but he has good power too and could also catch Lacy.
this would be a very exciting fight that i would LOVE to see in the near future, how do u see it turning out.
Yeah Lacy would get to him Lacy KO 5 or 6.......
if this fight happens, i'll bet the farm (all my points) that lacy will get the shit beat out of him......

lacy would get killed by green...that dude is a natural born killer and lacy shouldnt want anything to do with him....the dud green is a boxer with great power and damn good speed...green by ko in the later rounds....
as far as im concerned, jeff lacy is the most overrated guy in boxing today. only complete retards give this guy credit for beating two absolutely washed up opponents in reid and pemberton. i mean shit, manfredo jr beat pemberton up as bad as lacy did.
lacy can be outboxed by guys with slightly better than average skills. guys like allan green. lacy has not fought anybody that hits as hard as green does either. what makes you so sure he can handle allens power after getting his ass brutally handled by a guy other people (not i) call a slapper?
green by TKO9, jeff lacy is a hype job waiting to fall apart
Interesting. I can't wait for this fight.

i don't think you've seen enough Green, he's very susceptible to power himself.. he's was almost stopped after being dropped by a 17-3-2 Donnie McCrary.. he has many very bad habits that haven't been exposed to their fullest yet.. Green is the perfect opportunity for Lacy at this point
You may be right about this but for Lacy, I think that Green is too dangerous I fighter to face after being dominated in his last fight. Either way, this fight has big implications for both fighters and should be worth watching.
I can't believe how most of you guys are picking Lacy to win via KO after he got his ass handed to him by a "slapper" in his last fight. After watching him(Green) on FNF's, he has some pretty damn good boxing and ring skills along with height, speed, and power. If I was Lacy's promoter, I'd put him in against a lower-tiered opponent before stepping him up again against a up-and-coming prospect like Allen Green.

A bit wild at times, fustrated at times as well, but he worked his jab and killed Bonsante with the left hook.
i wanted to check this fight out, i hated bonsante. from what ive seen of green, i like.
to add, you think Green got rocked with Donnie McCrary, just wait till Lacy catches him... before i knew about this, i felt pity for the guy that went up against Lacy post-Calzaghe, i guess if Green's bold enough to be that guy..
This fight is the worst move Green could make. Green has not been moved along properly IMO. He needs one or two more fights against more experienced opposition to prepare himself for the next level. I don't think Green has much more besides power. He had no defense, balance and seems to be chinny. He's also not the strongest minded fighter Ive ever seen. I think Lacy KO's him inside 10, Green isn't ready at all. Him and Edison Miranda are being rushed because they are big punchers.
who knows how that humiliating defeat against calzaghe has affected lacy's mentality? if his mentality and resolve are unchanged, he will obliterate green.
but green could outjab and outmanuever lacy, too. not as easily as calzaghe did, but it could still happen.
